Quran (Words & Concepts) by WQT is smart phone app for both android and iPhone users. The aim of this Smartphone App is to be easy to use App, which provides users the basic Arabic Text of the Ayah, the English Translation with Vocabulary of important Quranic Words in English. The App also has options to access the Concept behind each ayah and the Implementation/ lessons that are applicable in our day to day lives.
This App is available for all ages and demographics. Anyone who wants to understand the Quran with least possible noise, human intervention and wants to practically apply the Quran in his/her life would find this app helpful. The App also has searchable options for keywords, along with share options, and copy/paste options so you could share the ayah (single or multiple) via WhatsApp or different channels. In terms of languages, although currently it’s only in English, but we will be adding more languages in future.
About WQT’s app and translations.
Quran (Words and Concepts) by WQT – Worldwide Quran Thinkers is an effort to translate the Quran with a methodology that aims to focus on Key Quranic Words and Concepts while exposing the ideological influences external to the Quran. Words defined by the Quran itself and translation, are presented in ‘as is basis’ so that everyone can read impartially the divine guidance as it is.
Work in progress.
Please note that it’s a work in progress since we are still studying and researching the Quran. We upload on the app and website the next set of ayahs as and when we have done research. Thus, it is estimated to be completed in around 4- 5 years. Untill then if you are studying any Surah/Ayah which we haven’t done yet, kindly refer the keyword vocabulary for all the keywords in that ayah. This in itself is a good study tool.

It’s worth pointing out that we don’t claim to be absolved of error. Note that whatever we come to know after our research, we share with everyone as our duty of ‘Iqra’. Therefore, based on your research, if you come across any mistake or missing aspect in any of these contents or sections, specially in vocabulary of Key Quranic Words, please contact us to notify us immediately, along with reference from Quran to establish that particular mistake and/or missing content. Accordingly, we would correct, amend, revise and add into it to reflect and explain the same aligned with the gist of Quranic guidance.

This app and its contents are for the purpose of sharing knowledge ONLY. It MUST NOT be treated as a REPLACEMENT of the QURAN. Your duty as a Muslim is to pick up the Quran and learn Quran and Deen-e-Islam directly through Quran. This translation should be treated as an AID ONLY to assist your Quranic Study.
