Nazmin’s Work- Ayat of Allah- Moon

In every Quran Fahmi Class for Children Aged 8 years to 11 years, we pick one Ayaat from Allah’s creations which is then given as a home assignment as to have Emaan on Allah, means Emaan on Allah’s Ayaat which is basically built upon seeking of knowledge of both these Ayaat of Allah. Student pick one Ayah from Quran that talks about this particular Ayat, find scientific facts about the Ayat, illustrate all this on a piece of paper and share the knowledge with everyone so we get to learn from each other as “Sharing of knowledge increases our knowledge”

This particular session was all about ‘Moon’ as one of Allah’s creations and this beautiful illustration is the work of Nazmin- an 11-year-old very talented and smart girl mashallah. The Quranic Ayah she selected from Quran depicts the story of Nabiy Ibrahim, which we also discussed in the class and why we all are asked to follow the Millat of Ibrahim.

[Quran 6:77] “And when he saw the moon rising, he said, “This is my Rabb.” But when it set, he said, “Unless my Rabb gives me Hidayah, I will surely be among the Zalimeen people.”

After she shared presented her research, we also watched a short and simple video for children to understand what are the impacts and benefits of moon for us here on earth. We all learnt a lot through her research, homework and sharing of knowledge. May Allah bless her and her family and may she continue to make her parents and teachers proud of her always.
