Sadaqa & Charity- The Importance

[Al-Munafiqun 63:10] And spend from what We have provided you before death approaches one of you and he says, “My Lord, if only You would delay me for a brief term so I would give charity and be among the righteous.

GOD ALMIGHTY telling us very clearly to spend money and efforts on poor and needy before it is too late. When death comes upon us, we will ask GOD almighty to give us a little more time so that we can do charity and sadaqat, as per GOD ALMIGHTY in this ayah, a dying person will not wish for a little more time for any other act of righteousness; the most important deed, which has the most weight on the scales of justice on the day of judgment is SADAQAT, CHARITY, SPENDING MONEY AND EFFORTS to help POOR and NEEDY. This ACT of CHARITY and SADAQAT is the most favorite act in the eyes of GOD almighty and also our beloved prophet Muhammad PBUH. The following are also very thought-provoking ayahs that clearly highlight Allah’s commandments to help others through charity and sadaqa through efforts and wealth for the benefit of others. 

[Al-Ma’un 107:1-7] (1) Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense? (2) For that is the one who drives away the orphan (3) And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. (4) So woe to those who so salat (5) who are heedless of their salaat – (6) Those who make show (7) And withhold assistance.
