A.   TRANSLATION

[Quran 6:68] And when Ra’aet (رَأَيْتَ) those who Yakhuzuna (يَخُوضُونَ) of Ayaatena (آيَاتِنَا), then A’arez (فَأَعْرِضْ) upon them until Yakhuzu (يَخُوضُوا) in Hadeeth (حَدِيثٍ) -e- Ghairihi (غَيْرِهِ) of it and what the Shaytan (الشَّيْطَانُ) Yunaseyannaka (يُنْسِيَنَّكَ) them. Then not Taqa’ud (تَقْعُدْ) after my Zikry (الذِّكْرَىٰ) with the Quome (الْقَوْمِ) Zwalimeen (الظَّالِمِينَ).

[Quran 6:69] And what A’ala (عَلَى) those Yattaquna (يَتَّقُونَ) of their Hisaabehim (حِسَابِهِمْ) from Shayyin (شَيْءٍ) except my Zikry (ذِكْرَىٰ) so that they Yattaquna (يَتَّقُونَ).

[Quran 6:70] And Zarre (وَذَرِ) those who Attazkuzu (اتَّخَذُوا) their Deen (دِينَهُمْ) La’aban (لَعِبًا) and Lahwan (وَلَهْوًا) and Gharrathum (وَغَرَّتْهُمُ) them the Hyaat (الْحَيَاةُ) of the world and Zikare (وَذَكِّرْ) with it- indeed, you Tubsala (تُبْسَلَ) Nafsun (نَفْسٌ) for what Kasabat (كَسَبَتْ)- Not for it from besides Allah Waliyun (وَلِيٌّ) and not Shafe’aun (شَفِيعٌ). And indeed, Ta’adil (تَعْدِلْ) every A’dalin (عَدْلٍ), not Yu’khazu (يُؤْخَذْ) from it those who Abselu (أُبْسِلُوا) with what Kasabu (كَسَبُوا)- for them Sharabun (شَرَابٌ) from Hameem (حَمِيمٍ) and a painful Azaabun (وَعَذَابٌ) – with what they Kanu (كَانُوا) Yakfurun (يَكْفُرُونَ).

[Quran 6:71] “Qul (قُلْ), “Anda’u (أَنَدْعُو) from besides Allah what does not Yanfa’auna (يَنْفَعُنَا) and not Yuzuruna (يَضُرُّنَا) and Nuraddu (وَنُرَدُّ) A’ala (عَلَىٰ) A’aqabena (أَعْقَابِنَا) after when Allah Hada’ana (هَدَانَا). All of the Shayateen (الشَّيَاطِينُ) they Astahutahu (اسْتَهْوَتْهُ) in the earth Hayraan (حَيْرَانَ) for it- their As’haabun (أَصْحَابٌ) Yada’unahu (يَدْعُونَهُ) it to Huda (الْهُدَى), come all.” Qul (قُلْ), “Indeed, Huda (هُدَى) of Allah- that is the Huda (الْهُدَىٰ) and Amarna (وَأُمِرْنَا) to Nuslemu (لِنُسْلِمَ) towards Rabb (لِرَبِّ) of the worlds.”

[Quran 6:73] Allah is the one who created the skies and the earth with Haqq (بِالْحَقِّ). And Youma (وَيَوْمَ) Yaqulu (يَقُولُ), ‘Kun (كُنْ) Fayakun (فَيَكُونُ)”- this Quol (قَوْلُهُ) is the Haqq (الْحَقُّ). And to Allah belongs the Mulku (الْمُلْكُ) of Youma (يَوْمَ) Yunfakhu (يُنْفَخُ) of the S’oor (الصُّورِ)- A’alemu (عَالِمُ) of the Ghaibe (الْغَيْبِ) and the Shahadat (وَالشَّهَادَةِ) of it and Allah is the Hakeem (الْحَكِيمُ) the Khabeer (الْخَبِيرُ).

B.   THE CONCEPT:

COTEXT OF THESE AYAHS- WHAT WE HAVE DISCUSSED SO FAR

Through the earlier Ayahs of Suran Al Anam, we have learned the divine wisdom that To Allah belongs the wisdom of all that is unseen and hideen in the Birra and the Bahar- No one except Allah can give the knowledge of it and there is nothing missing in the Kitaab-e-Mubeen. Whatever anyone is able to gather, learn or gain information from any page, piece of information, document or evidence regarding such unseen and hidden aspects of the Birra and the Bahar is given by and in the knowledge of only Allah. There is nothing in the universe which is not in the Kitaab -e- Mubeen- refers to all the laws of nature that have been created, written and set in motion by Allah, which have been fixed, not changeable and nothing can divert or fail to comply with these laws of Allah. All these laws are mentioned in the Kitaab for them, from which they can never divert away from- they obey these laws willingly or unwillingly. And this Kitaab is Mubin- i.e., explained in detail, distinctly and clearly made evident, distinct from one another and explained and well-diversified in nature as evidences and proofs of Allah’s existence and greatness. Allah does not Hubbatin the Zulumaat of the Earth- The whole system of Allah comprising of Fitrat and Noor of Allah, Allah’s creations, Allah’s message and all the laws are all working against in direct opposition and contradiction of such aspects, elements, people, traits and characteristics that are opposed to this system of Allah; that are not being at their rightful place, where they are supposed to be as created by Allah, as well as such elements, situations, aspects and people committing extreme acts of injustices against other habitants of the earth.

We have also learned from earlier Ayahs about the whole process of Allah’s accountability and the perfect system of recompense- Allah is the one who carries out the perfect accountability with and through the intense and extreme aspects, periods and elements of darkness, destruction and hardships. And Allah knows what and how people inflict wounds, hurt, harm, pain & sufferings, allegorically in terms of injuries to relationships, people, aspects and positivity in the communities with the help of all those things that are their most treasured and desirable ones. It’s because of such acts that Allah then appoints defined duties and responsibilities with a clearly defined mission and objectives for such people in order to bring about Allah’s judgment and decree the specified and fixed deferment of their perfect accountability. Then to Allah would be the place of retreat, in terms of a place of refuge as well as Allah being the only authoritative source and competent authority for the purpose of everyone’s accountability at its best- to whom we all will be returning back to as our source of origins- from where we all came into being.

We also learned the concept of how Allah is Qahiru for Allah’s Ebaad- Those people who follows the laws of Allah in humbly submissive manner, treating these laws and Allah as the most significant and important for them, then they enter into the ambit of Allah being Qaahiru for Allah’s Ebaad. Due to their own choice to follow the laws of Allah, Allah is now the most significant and important for them over anything/anyone else in terms of them being humbly submissive to the Laws of Allah based on their own choice, while at the same time, the whole system of Allah responds to them giving them more benefits, significance and value as well as protection and shield for them. Thus, Allah’s message, Risalat & Hidayah acts as a protection and shield for such people. On the other hand, for those who go against Allah’s system, for whom Allah is not Qahiro; for those the state of metaphorical death and of extreme Kufar has been brought to fruition, which is much beyond the average, matchless and unrivalled, where such people are all alone in their state of extreme Kufar and metaphoric death- this state is basically the perfect accountability and them facing the recompense of their own actions and deeds of extreme Kufar as per their due right, a concept of Accountability as per Allah’s Rislaat, Allah’s message, since Allah never goes against the laws of the Kitaab, (both referring to the laws of Deen as per Allah’s message, the Kalam as well as the laws of nature and creations of Allah in science and universe as well as the process and the laws of recompense and accountability). Such people who have gone into extreme Kufar, in a state of death like state are described further that – they reject, negate, make futile and rendered ineffective Allah as their guardian, defender, benefactor, protector, close friend and ally. Thus, in their state of extreme Kufar and metaphoric death, they take everyone and everything except Allah and Allah’s laws as their Hukum- lawmaker, judge, arbitrator, maker/issuer of decrees, rulings, verdicts, wisdom, laws and regulations for them. Whereas Allah is the one who is precise, swift and generous- the best among those who carry out the process of accountability, payback and recompense.

The concept of Shirk, being divided into Sects as one form of Shirk and the different forms of Azaab were also taught through earlier ayahs, which give counter-arguments to such people who commit the acts of Shirk by following laws of deen other than from Allah as to ask them, ‘who saves and rescues you from the darkness, confusion and injustices of the Birra; who saves you from the evil path of going in the opposite direction of Birra, i.e., Bahar? You seek for help from the system of Allah, and make Duaa to Allah to make you realize and self-reflect as well as keeping your sins and mistakes as secret, hidden and private. Then if Allah saves and rescues you from the Zulumaat of the Birraa and the Bahar, will you then aim to become and reach the final destination of being the Aabid and Shaakir of Allah? Allah is the one who saves you from it and from each and every form of distress, affliction, suffering and anguish, yet you do Shirk- assign partners with Allah where no one is the authority- you follow the laws of Deen from other than Allah, and take up other than Allah as your deities whose laws of Deen you follow. Allah is capable, powerful, and resourceful over all things but Allah does not intervene during this worldly life. Everything is determined as per the cause and effect of the natural laws, whatever one decides, based on one’s freewill, will face the consequences of one’s decisions, in this worldly life as well as in the hereafter. Indeed, Allah is the one who has appointed for duties with specific objective and mission upon those in extreme kufar the Azaab- as their recompense for all their acts of Kufar and bad deeds. These ayahs highlight couple of forms of Azaab as (1) in accordance with and as per their resources and abilities or (2) being engulfed in and associated with sects, clearly telling us that associating with any sect, or becoming a part of any sect is actually an act of Shirk and being divided into sects and groups is actually a form of Allah’s Azaab. Thus, Allah cause you to experience the earning and facing extreme difficulty, hardship, illness, sufferings, adversity, sadness, grief, misery and poverty as a consequence of their own actions at the hand of others.

CONCEPT OF THESE AYAHS

These Ayahs are basically a continuation of the earlier discussion specifically continuation of the discussion related to the acts of Shirk and of going against Allah’s Ayahs and Allah’s whole system. Thus, when Allah says in the next Ayah 6:68, “And when Ra’aet (رَأَيْتَ) those who Yakhuzuna (يَخُوضُونَ) of Ayaatena (آيَاتِنَا), then A’arez (فَأَعْرِضْ) upon them until Yakhuzu (يَخُوضُوا) in Hadeeth (حَدِيثٍ)-e-Ghairihi (غَيْرِهِ) of it and what the Shaytan (الشَّيْطَانُ) Yunaseyannaka (يُنْسِيَنَّكَ). Then not Taqa’ud (تَقْعُدْ) after my Zikry (الذِّكْرَىٰ) with the Quome (الْقَوْمِ) Zwalimeen (الظَّالِمِينَ).”

And when Ra’aet (each and very evidence, as perceived through all our senses, through which something is proven, given evidence of, shown, validated, verified, substantiated or authenticated by) those who Yakhuzuna (being involved and engaged in any conducts, behaviors, conversations, debates, discussions, or conducts which are not only fruitless in nature, futile or worthless but also attempts to make futile or render useless) of Ayaatena (all these Ayaat of Allah), then A’arez (exposing, spreading out, presenting someone or something, making something obvious, or something being made to put in the front as a covering or exposing; exposing them, explaining to them, becoming a covering or shield against their behaviors and conducts; to come out/spread out in front of something in a manner that it becomes a hindrance) upon them two aspects 1) until Yakhuzu (being involved and engaged in any conducts, behaviors, conversations, debates, discussions, or conducts which are not only fruitless in nature, futile or worthless but also attempts to make futile or render useless) in Hadeeth (event, story, an occurrence, happening) -e- Ghairihi (opposite, other than, in contradiction of, without) of it (Allah’s Ayaat, Kalam & laws) and (2) until A’arez what the Shaytaan has (in the past) Yunaseyannaka (made to discontinue, to give up or leave anything, to consider less in importance, to ignore or discontinue protection or implementation of or made to fall into utter oblivion in regards to Allah’s Ayaat). Then not Taqa’ud (taking on the position, the view, or the beliefs) after my Zikry (Quran, understanding of my Ayaat, becoming shaakir & aabid, having learned Ibrat/lessons) Ma’a (near, close or with) the Quome (the establishing, strengthening or supporting of) Zwalimeen (those who conduct extreme acts of injustices against Allah’s Ayaat).

This Ayah is basically giving a direct divine instruction to us, as the addressee of the Quran by saying that ‘when validated and shown those who get involved and engaged in such conducts and behaviors which are not only fruitless in nature, futile and worthless but also those who attempt to make futile and render useless our all the Ayaat (both the Kalam- Kitaab as well as the creations of Allah); then you should expose, spread out, present these Ayaat, making them as well as the Ayaat obvious and putting these Ayaat in the front as a covering and shield as well as means of exposing them, explaining to them, becoming a covering or shield against their behaviors and conducts and to spread out in front of their actions and them in a manner that it becomes as a hindrance upon them w.r.t. two aspects 1) until they, instead, get involved and engaged in such conducts, behaviors which attempt to make futile and render useless such events, stories, and happenings that are opposite to, without, other than or in contradiction of Allah’s Ayaat, Kalam & laws and 2) we should A’ariz all those aspects which Shaytaan has made to discontinue, to give up or leave, to consider less in importance, to ignore or discontinue protection or implementation of or made to fall into utter oblivion in regards to Allah’s Ayaat. Then, after the Quran has been made evident upon you; understanding of Allah’s Ayaat, after becoming Shaakir and Aabid and after learning lessons from the stories of the previous nations as per the Quran; that is after Allah’s Zikar, do not take on any position, view or belief that establish, strengthen, contribute or support those who conduct extreme acts of injustices against Allah’s Ayaat.

Ayah 6:69, “And what A’ala (عَلَى) those Yattaquna (يَتَّقُونَ) of their Hisaabehim (حِسَابِهِمْ) from Shayyin (شَيْءٍ) except my Zikry (ذِكْرَىٰ) so that they Yattaquna (يَتَّقُونَ).”

And what A’ala (the height of, the peak and epitome of) those Yattaquna (observe Taqwa, be cautious, nurturing and careful of the laws of Allah) of their Hisaabehim (earning as a due right based on one’s deeds and actions, in the meanings of payback, recompense, accountability in just manner as per solid judicial principals) from Shayyin (anything, event, process, aspect, happening etc.) except my Zikry (Quran, understanding of my Ayaat, becoming Shaakir & Aabid, having learned Ibrat/lessons) so that they Yattaquna (observe Taqwa, be cautious, nurturing and careful of laws).

This Ayah is a counter argument telling us the importance and significance of Allah’s Zikar and observing Taqwa of Allah’s Zikar by saying that ‘what would be the epitome and height of their best payback, recompense, accountability for those who observe Taqwa by being cautious, nurturing and careful of the laws of Allah, from anything, except that this best of the best recompense as per Allah’s solid judicial principals is only possible through Allah’s Zikar- the Quran, understanding and implementation of Allah’s Ayaat, becoming Shaakir & Aabid, after having learned Ibrat/lessons from the stories of previous nations as mentioned in the Quran. Therefore, to get the best recompense should observe Taqwa, be cautious, nurturing and careful of laws of Allah by doing Zikar of Allah.

Ayah 6:70, “And Zarre (وَذَرِ) those who Attazkuzu (اتَّخَذُوا) their Deen (دِينَهُمْ) La’aban (لَعِبًا) and Lahwan (وَلَهْوًا) and Gharrathum (وَغَرَّتْهُمُ) them the Hyaat (الْحَيَاةُ) of the world and Zikare (وَذَكِّرْ) with it. Indeed, you Tubsala (تُبْسَلَ) Nafsun (نَفْسٌ) with what Kasabat (كَسَبَتْ)- Not for it from besides Allah Waliyun (وَلِيٌّ) and not Shafe’aun (شَفِيعٌ). And indeed, Ta’adil (تَعْدِلْ) every A’dalin (عَدْلٍ), not Yu’khazu (يُؤْخَذْ) from it those who Abselu (أُبْسِلُوا) with what Kasabu (كَسَبُوا)- for them Sharabun (شَرَابٌ) from Hameem (حَمِيمٍ) and a painful Azaabun (وَعَذَابٌ) – with what they Kanu (كَانُوا) Yakfurun (يَكْفُرُونَ).”

And Zarre (let go, leave, disperse, disseminate, end an association or relationship with someone or something, escape or leave, end or discontinue something) those who Attazkuzu (seize, take, grab hold strongly) their Deen La’aban (‘game, pastime, playing, dallying with, fooling with, playing with, wasting time, talk or act frivolously, dilly-dallying, or tampering with something’) and Lahwan (such amusement, enjoyments, useless activities and entertainment which is of no benefit to anyone, neither to the person who is involved in such activities nor to anyone else- thus such activities cannot be a source of Hayaat and life, or ways and means of personality or character development, for any benefit to anyone, nor provides any help, support or contribution to the system of S’alaat or for any societal benefit at all) and Gharrathum  (deception, wishful thinking, delusions, and something which is not true or too far from reality, or something which is opposite to Haqq- absolute truth and means falsehood, delusions, deceptions etc. everything which is delusional, that that deceives or cannot be trusted) them the Hyaat (being alive means being alive and active, both physically as well as being as per Emaan and on Hidayah based on the basic concept of life, living or being alive in it’s true sense and all manifestations) of the world and Zikare (remember, remind) with it only. Indeed, you Tubsala (to destroy, or to present for destruction etc.) Nafsun (all the aspects of Nafs) with what Kasabat (bringing upon oneself, absorbing or retaining within oneself the impacts, in order to either face the consequences of or gain the benefits thereof)- Not for it from besides Allah Waliyun (close friend, an Ally, a supporter, protector, defenders, benefactors, a confident, on whom one relies and have complete Tawakkul on) and not Shafe’aun (being of or providing full support, through one’s actions and deeds, working for, contributing to, backing, encouragement, assistance, cooperation, endorsement). And indeed, Ta’adil (carry out the justice process for) every A’dalin (justice), not they Yu’khazu (seize, grab hold strongly) from it those who Abselu (to destroy, present a gloomy aspect, to present for destruction etc.) with what Kasabu (bringing upon oneself, absorbing or retaining within oneself the impacts, in order to either face the consequences of or gain the benefits thereof) – for them Sharabun (being engulfed, as in consumed, overwhelmed, submerged, swamped or immersed) from Hameem (something or something, who/which is very intimate, close or a cherished one in terms of some close, intimate or cherished friend and intimate partner) and a painful Azaabun (punishment) – with what they Kanu (aim to reach the final destination through their acts of) Yakfurun (they do Kufar, hide and concealed haqq, their own faculties and Allah’s Ayaat).

This Ayah warns us against those elements, people, acts, system, laws and aspects which are in direct contradiction of Allah’s Ayaat, what we should be on guard against and what our treatment and behaviors should be by saying that ‘Let go, discontinue and end an association and relationship with those who seize their Deen as game, pastime, wasting time, or dilly-dallying. Also leave and let go such people who seize their Deen as amusement, entertainment, enjoyments and such useless activities which are of no benefit to anyone, neither to them who are involved in such activities nor to anyone else- thus such activities cannot be a source of life, or ways and means of personality or character development, for any benefit to anyone, nor to provide any help, support or contribution to the system of S’alaat nor for any societal benefit at all. For them the life of the earth is all deception, wishful thinking, delusions, and aspects which are far from reality, opposite to Haqq and falsehood, from which no one can bring them back and they are involved in only the reminder, the talk and remembrance of the life of this world. Indeed, you allowed their Nafs to be destroyed for what they bring upon themselves, by absorbing and retaining within themselves the impacts, in order to face the consequences of their own actions and such activities. Since no one besides Allah can be Waliy or Shafi’e therefore for them, therefore they do not have anyone as their close friend, ally, supporter, protector, benefactor, confident, on whom they can rely on and have complete Tawakkul on, nor any source or means of support and strength. And indeed, you should continue to carry out the justice process for each and every one as per justice at its best for every aspect of justice; and should make sure that these people do not take away any part of this justice since they are the ones who destroy with what they bring upon themselves in order to face the consequences of their own actions. For such people is to be engulfed in, consumed by and submerged in such intimate and close form of Azaab which is an extremely painful one. This is their recompense for what they aimed to reach the final destination through their actions of Kufar; of hiding and concealing Haqq, their own faculties and Allah’s Ayaat.

Ayah 6:71, “Qul (قُلْ), “Anda’u (أَنَدْعُو) from besides Allah what does not Yanfa’auna (يَنْفَعُنَا) and not Yuzuruna (يَضُرُّنَا) and Nuraddu (وَنُرَدُّ) A’ala (عَلَىٰ) A’aqabena (أَعْقَابِنَا) after when Allah Hada’ana (هَدَانَا).

Qul (Reflect from your conducts and behaviors) that, “Anda’u (would all of you seek help from, rely on, make duaa to) from besides Allah what does not Yanfa’auna (extreme help, assistance, benefit, improvement, compensation, advantage, benefit, remedy or utility) and not Yuzuruna (intense hurt, harm and/or torture) and Nuraddu (reject, to repel, to negate or make futile, or ‘to be rendered useless’ or ‘waste something’ or ‘end something being useless’) A’ala (the height, peak and maximum of) A’aqabena (outcome of one’s code and conductions- Including one’s Emaan and deeds done in this worldly life, that one would face sooner or later, as a perfect recompense either in this world as well as in the Youm-al Akhira. Thus, refers to the outcome, the retribution, the payback, the reprisal of whatever was done and is being repaid in just manner in accordance with whatever was done as per Allah’s solid judicial principles and with justice at its best) after when Allah Hada’ana (gives Hidayat, guided). Like those who Astahutahu (such desires, delusions, distraction, deviations, that Zalal people- mislead people away from the Sabeel of Allah, by having them forget and ignore the day of accountability and recompense) the Shayateen (the plural of Shaytaan) in the earth Hayraan (Cause confusion, fear, intimidation) for it (the Aqibaat)- the As’haabun (companions, accompanying something or someone in the meanings of being joined together, or connected together or companions of each other) Yada’unahu (seek help from, rely on, make duaa to) to the Huda (Allah’s Hidayah and guidance) come all of you.” Qul (reflect from your conducts and behaviours), “Indeed, Huda (the guidance) of Allah- that is the Huda (guidance) and Amarna (ordered, guided, instructed, commanded) to Nuslemu (The word Aslam, denotes a combination of meanings which are at the foundations of Deen-e-Islam, being that code of conduct- a way of life, which is given in Quran as per the laws of Deen, a complete submission and obedience of which fills the gap for an individual’s insufficiencies, correct own flaws, to make the person a perfect and pure being whereby an individual’s faculties and abilities are utilized to their maximum, protecting the person through all the troubles, lawlessness, destruction as well as pushing individual towards new heights ensuring long term success, peace, prosperity, security not just for the individual but for all members of the society) towards Rabb (who is carrying out the process of Rabobiat- The word Rabobiat conveys not only the idea of creating, fostering, bringing up or nourishing, but also that of guiding, caring, designing, regulating, completing, cherishing, accomplishing, sustaining and bringing to maturity in such a manner so as to transition from one condition to another until the thing- the creation reaches the goal of completion & perfection) of the worlds.”

This Ayah is a direct divine instructions to us, as to how to deal with such people and aspects who are working against the Ayaat of Allah by asking us to reflect from your conducts and behaviors that do you all seek help from and make Dua’a to those from besides Allah who can neither hugely benefit nor compensate; and who neither can cause intense hurt or injury to you- while you all negate and render useless your A’aqibat- end results, the fruits of your efforts, the recompense of your deeds up to its maximum that you are sending forward for your Nafs to the hereafter; after Allah has given you Allah’s Hidayah, the message and have guided you all? All of the Shayateen, the egoistic elements, laws, people, forces on earth who mislead others by creating and luring through Hawa- such desires that mislead them far away from the path of Allah- the companions of these Shayateen use confusions, perplexity, fear and intimidation about their A’aqibat- end results to invite people towards their path by saying that this is the guidance, come to it. Whereas, the only Haqq- the absolute truth; the only guidance is that of Allah’s. And Allah orders, instructs and commands us all to be obediently subservient to Allah’s laws in complete submission, following the Deen-e-Islam, the laws of Deen; i.e., to Aslam to the Rabb of the worlds- the being who is carrying out the process of Rabobiat- who has not only created each and everything in the universe but is also fostering, bringing up, nourishing, guiding, caring, designing, regulating, completing, cherishing, accomplishing, sustaining and bringing to maturity in such a manner so as to transition from one condition to another until the creation reaches the goal of completion & perfection.

Ayah 6:72, “And indeed, Aquemu (أَقِيمُوا) the S’alaat (الصَّلَاةَ) and Attaqu (وَاتَّقُوهُ) Allah- Allah is the one to whom you Tahsharun (تُحْشَرُونَ).”

“And indeed, Aquemu (support, strengthen, backing, encouragement, assistance and help the Deen ul Qayyama; the basic foundation of the Deen ul Qayyamate is justice at its best as per the Fitrat of Allah, with love, compassion, care, justice at its core, the requirements of Deen as Hanifan and the concept of judgment and recompense as the basis. Hence not only the basic Foundations of S’alaat is Deen Al Qayyamat but also whenever Quran talks about ‘Aqeemu the S’alat’, the word Aqeemu is used in meaning of establishing the Deen-e-Qayama) the S’alaat (the word ‘S’alaat’ as per Quran basically means a system, which we establish physically to look after everything and everyone and every life form in that system accordingly, through which we connect, permanently & strongly, to and turn towards Deen with our whole being, to connect not just to Deen, but to all of the humanity through the system of mutual care, compassion and justice; to follow and be obedient of the rules and commandments of Deen, committing to, turning towards, contributing to establishing this system of Salaat- these rules of Deen as given by Allah in Quran, through the system of mutual care, justice and compassion for everyone) and Attaqu (observe Taqwa, be cautious, nurturing and careful of laws) Allah- Allah is the one to whom you Tahsharun (the word Tushharoon is more linked with the concept of accountability, payback and perfect recompense being accorded by Allah and the whole system of Allah and linked specifically for the concept of judgment, payback, recompense and accountability).”

This is a continuation of the divine instructions to us as the addressee of the Quran as to what our behaviors and conducts should be in the environment which is working against the system of Allah by asking us to support, back, contribute, encourage and strengthen the implementation and continuance running of the system of Salat- the system of social care and justice built on the basic foundations of the Deen ul Qayyamate which is justice at its best as per the Fitrat of Allah, with love, compassion, care, justice at its core, the requirements of Deen as Hanifan and the concept of judgment and recompense as the basis. And observe Taqwa, be cautious, nurturing, obedient and careful of the laws Allah- Allah is the one to whom you would be returning to for the purpose of your accountability, payback and perfect recompense being accorded by Allah and the whole system of Allah.

Allah is the one who created the skies and the earth with Haqq (used in four broad meanings – 1-as apposed of doubt & confusion; Therefore, Haq means the confirmation of absolute truth. The word means firm, strong, confirmed / solid truth, solid constructive fact or event with strong/undeniable foundations and fundamentals. 2- As opposed to “Ba’Til”- As we all know Batil means destruction of human faculties and resources, or any forces whose basic aim is to destroy peace law and order, Evil. As an opposite to Batil, the word Haq means such constructive, and positive forces, intentions, deeds whose basic aim is to utilize human faculties and resources to their best, to cause law and order, love, compassion, peace and kindness, and to shield, protect and attack against the Batil. 3- anybody or anything or any system’s due right based on Allah’s solid judicial principals, that is whatever that person, thing or system has earned based on justice it could be either reward or punishment, that recompense, the due right is termed as Haq & 4- as one’s obligations and duties based on one’s roles and responsibilities). And Youma (the well-known and confirmed aspects, process, events, happening when) Yaqulu (Allah does not say anything, but here it means that the whole of Allah’s system, including all the laws and systems of Allah, such as natural laws, Allah’s Malaik and the laws of Allah. Allah carried out through years and years of creation, planning etc. the process of), ‘Kun Fayakun (The whole process of Kun Faya Kun is not an instant, one moment, split second, speech or even action by Allah, but in fact spread over billions of years of designing, execution of Allah’s planning, gathering & evolution of basic ingredients in their desired form, creation of a single life form, it is evolution, and finally, creation of a human being with All of Allah’s laws & systems of the universe and Malaik working in synchronization with each other. The whole process of evolution, designing and creation as defined by the phrase ‘Kun FyaKun’ basically stems from the word ‘Kana’ meaning becoming, reaching a certain final destination or a milestone in terms of evolution of mankind to what it is today. There is no change of Sunnah -practice of Allah, and therefore the way Allah has created the humanity, it’s created not as a result of trial and error; nor in an instant split action)”- this Quol (detailed process of creation of Humanity is) the Haqq (used in four broad meanings – 1-as apposed of doubt & confusion; Therefore, Haq means the confirmation of absolute truth. And to Allah belongs the Mulku (owners or possessors of power, authority, kingdom, ownership of resources and Allah’s Naimat & bounties) of Youma (the well-known and confirmed event, aspect, process and happening) Yunfakhu (the word is used in Quran in the meanings of transforming, conditioning, or causing something or someone to move in a particular way, manner or direction for instance the way a child is created in the wombs of mothers. The same word is used to reflect one’s transformation, as a result of taking impact from Allah’s message in terms of one’s understanding and practically applying the Hidayah) of the S’oor (The word is normally mistranslated as trumpet, but the word is used in Quran in the meanings of how we, as human beings, have been fashioned and created)- A’alemu (All-knowing) of the Ghaibe (unseen, and hidden aspects) and the Shahadat (carrying out the whole process of justice) of it and Allah is the Hakeem (Allah as Hakeem is based on the concept of Allah being Hikm, the judge, the lawmaker in matters of Deen who has given us all the Mohkimaat, the divine commandments, rules, laws, decree, regulations in clear manner, as well as Allah being Hakeem means Allah being full of wisdom and Hikmat) the Khabeer (the all knower of this event/process and aspect of KunFayakun, Hikmat, Hidayah and Shahada).

Allah is the one who created the skies and the earth with absolute truth, justice at its best, as your duty and responsibility and with such constructive, and positive forces, intentions, deeds whose basic aim is to utilize human faculties and resources to their best, to cause law and order, love, compassion, peace and kindness, and to shield, protect and attack against the Batil. And the well-known and confirmed aspects, process, events, happening when the whole of Allah’s system, including all the laws and creations of Allah, such as natural laws, Allah’s Malaik and the laws of Allah, carried out through years and years of creation, planning etc. the process of ‘Kun Fayakun’- The whole process of Kun Faya Kun is not an instant, one moment, split second, speech or even action by Allah, but in fact spread over billions of years of designing, execution of Allah’s planning, gathering & evolution of basic ingredients in their desired form, creation of a single life form, it is evolution, and finally, creation of a human being with All of Allah’s laws & systems of the universe and Malaik working in synchronization with each other. This detailed process of creation of humanity is absolute truth, justice at its best, as our duty and responsibility and with such constructive, and positive forces, intentions, deeds whose basic aim is to utilize human faculties and resources to their best. And to Allah belongs the authority, ownership of resources and possession of the well-known and confirmed event, aspect, process and happening of transforming and developing the way we’re created, shaped, formed not only in the wombs but also towards the Hidayah because Allah is the All-knower of something that is hidden, unseen or not yet known or understood by us, such as what is in the wombs or the aspects of Allah’s message and the upholding of justice as the foundation of Deen and Allah’s Hidayah and Allah is the lawmaker, the judge, the All wise and the All- knower of this event/process and aspect of KunFayakun, Hikmat, Hidayah and Shahada).

C.    IMPLEMENTATION IN TODAY’S LIFE:

These Ayahs of Surah Al-Ana’m i.e., 6:68 to 73 give us the following divine guidance that we can apply in our day to day lives.

  • THE CONCEPT OF SHIRK EXPLAINED: The basic concept of Shirk means to associate partners with Allah, where no one else is the authority. When people follows laws in matters of Deen, which are not mentioned in the Kitaab- the Quran; then that is like taking someone else other than Allah as Hikm, the law maker in Deen, as taking that person, or source of such laws, as their Waliy- protector, guardian, confidant and close ally as well as their Shafi’e- the source of their strength and support; whereas these Ayahs clearly highlight and counter such people by asking though provoking question as ‘Do you all seek help from, make Duaa to and rely on those from besides Allah, who can neither hugely benefit nor intensely harm you in any manner? By relying on people, systems, laws and elements which are from besides Allah and work in opposition and contradictory to the Ayaat of Allah, these people are actually not only doing acts of Shirk, but are also rendering useless, ineffective, denying, rejecting and negating their own Aqibaat- their such deeds and actions that they could have put forward for their Nafs for the hereafter and for their recompense. Since there is no one else, who is a Walliy and Shafiy from besides Allah, who one can rely on and put their trusts on, by doing these acts of Shirk, these people are going to face their perfect recompense of Azaab sooner or later.

  • HOW TO INTERACT WITH THOSE WHO RENDER USELESS THE AYAAT OF ALLAH WITH THE HELP OF HADEETH-E-GHAIRIHI: Through these Ayaat we have learned the divine lessons that whenever we observe those whose conducts and behaviors aim to render ineffective, ignore, useless or futile the Ayaat of Allah, with the help of them using Hadeeth-e-Ghairhi- i.e., such fabrications, which are contradictory of, other than and as opposed to the Ayaat of Allah, inserted in the name of Deen; then we should use the Ayaat of Allah as a shield and protection, expose not only their actions and the fabrications, explain and put across the Ayaat of Allah to them but also everything that the Shaytani elements, aspects and people have made them forgot about the Ayaat of Allah. We should continue our efforts until such time that they start to render ineffective such fabrications. We should never take on the views of such people, or side with them, once we have understood Allah’s Ayaat, have implemented it, remembered all the blessings of Allah, have become the Ebaad- following the laws of Allah, in utter and deep gratitude and have taken lessons from the stories of the previous nations as mentioned in the Kitaab; and we should never support, side with, strengthen or contribute towards such heights of injustices against the Ayaat of Allah.

  • ALLAH’S COMMAND TO SEVER ALL CONTACTS WITH CERTAIN TYPES OF PEOPLE AND THE DIVINE WISDOM BEHIND IT: Through these Ayahs we have learned the divine commandments to let go, end and discontinue all associations with such types of people who have taken their Deen as per all these four defined manners 1) as past time, game, time waste and dilly dallying; 2) being involved in useless and futile activities and rituals that are of no benefit to any one or the society in any manner; 3) falsehood, fabrications, wishful thinking and delusions about the life on earth and 4) involved in, with focus of and remembrance of ONLY the life of this world. Though in the earlier Ayahs, Allah has given us the divine wisdom not to exclude anyone nor rush them, or lack patience for their path to Hidayah, but here in these Ayahs, when Allah is asking us to disassociate and sever all contacts with these specific types of people who are involved in these four acts and behaviors, the reason is that, we, by disassociating ourselves from them, should let them face their perfect recompense and to face the consequences of their own actions of destruction of their Nafs. We should, as upholders of justice, keep our focus on ensuring justice at its best for everyone and not let such people take anything from such justice, nor let them hold us back from ensure justice. For them, the perfect recompense for their acts of Kufar, of withholding Haqq and of hiding and concealing Allah’s Ayaat, is to be engulfed and emersed in such painful Azaab which would be extremely close and intimate for them.

  • HOW DO SHAYATEEN AND THEIR COMPANIONS/ ASSOCIATES MISLEAD PEOPLE: These Ayahs have also warned us as to how such Shayateen- the elements, laws, process, rules and people that are under the influence of their egoistic selves and work in opposite to and contradictory to the system of Allah; as to how they mislead people by creating and luring through such desires, the basic aim of which is to take people far away and mislead them far away from the path of Allah- They, their companions, partners and associates, do this by creating fear, confusion, perplexity about their Aqibaat- the end results of their actions, by projecting as if the path they are inviting is the path to Hidayah. By creating fear and intimidation about their Aqibat, they use it to invite people to their ways and methods whereas Allah has warned through these Ayaah, that the ONLY guidance is the Allah’s Huda, Allah’s Message and Ayaat.

  • THE BEST WAY TO BE PROTECTECD, NURTURED AND REMAINED ON ALLAH’S GUIDANCE, IS TO DO ZIKAR: These Ayahs have also tough us that the best way we can observe Taqwa, be obedient and follower of the laws of Allah by being extra careful, cautious and nurturing is to do Zikar, to read, understand and implement the Ayaat of Allah; to take lessons from the stories of previous nations as mentioned in the Kitaab of Allah; to remember all the blessings of Allah and become Allah’s Ebaad- follower of the laws of Allah through explicit actions in utter and deep gratitude.

  • BASIC ELEMENTS OF ALLAH’S HUDA & HIDAYAH: These Ayahs also highlight the basic elements of Allah’s guidance which is (1) first and foremost to Aslam to the Rabb of the worlds, i.e., to be obediently submit to the laws of Allah in complete submission and to follow the laws of Deen-e-Islam; (2) To Aqueemu the S’alaat, i.e., to establish, strengthen and contribute to the social care and justice system built on the foundations of Deen-e-Islam, such as love, compassion, care and justice for everyone, connecting permanently and strongly the members of the society with each other and with the help of these foundations; (3) To Observe Taqwa, to follow the laws by being extra careful and cautious of Allah knowing that Allah is the one who is going to carry out the perfect accountability and recompense for everyone based on Allah’s solid judicial principals and in accordance with everyone’s deeds and actions; knowing that Allah is the one who has created the skies and the earth with absolute truth and justice and as our basic responsibility and duty and knowing that to Allah belongs the possession, ownership and authority over each and everything in the universe.  Allah is the one who is the upholder of justice, as per all its steps and processes as well as justice as the foundation of Deen and Allah’s Hidayah. Allah is the one who is the lawmaker, the judge, the All wise, full of wisdom and the All-knowing of all these aspects.

  • THE PROCESS OF KUN FAYAKUN & ALLAH BEING THE ONE WHO YUNFAKHU THE SOOR: Allah is the one who has created the whole of universe as well the process of Kun Fayakun, which is not a split second, instant action by Allah, but involved centuries of planning, gathering of required material, designing, execution and evolution. Once the humanity has been created, there is no change in the Sunnah, practice of Allah, and there is no possibility of the creation of humanity to be different for Adam and Easa and for the rest of the humans- it’s the same for each and every one of us. To Allah belongs all the dominion, the powers, the ownership, including the well-known and established fact and process of transformation and development (Yanfakhu) in the way we’re created, shaped, formed not only in the wombs but also towards the Hidayah- Allah’s guidance and Hayyaat- life (S’oor) because Allah is the All-knower of something that is hidden, unseen, not yet known or understood by us, such as what is in the wombs or the aspects of Allah’s message, or how the universe or humanity was created etc.
