A.   TRANSLATION

Indeed, Rabbeka (رَبَّكَ) Hakeemun (حَكِيمٌ) A’aleem (عَلِيمٌ).

[Quran 6:129] And thus Nawalliy (نُوَلِّي) some of the Zwalimeen (الظَّالِمِينَ) with some of others with what Kanu (كَانُوا) Yaksabuna (يَكْسِبُونَ).

[Quran 6:130] Yama’shara (يَمَعْشَرَ) the Jinne (الْجِنِّ) and the Inse (وَالْإِنْسِ), ‘Did not come to you Rusulun (رُسُلٌ) from among you Yaqs’una (يَقُصُّونَ) upon you my Ayaat (آيَاتِي) and Yunzirunakum (وَيُنْذِرُونَكُمْ) you for Laqa’a (لِقَاءَ) this Youm (يَوْمِكُمْ) of yours?’ Qalu (قَالُوا), ‘Shahidna (شَهِدْنَا) A’ala (عَلَىٰ) Anfusena (أَنْفُسِنَا)’ and Gharartuhum (وَغَرَّتْهُمُ) them the Hayyatu (الْحَيَاةُ) of the world. And Shahedu (وَشَهِدُوا) A’ala (عَلَىٰ) Anfusehim (أَنْفُسِهِمْ) that they Kanu (كَانُوا) Kafireen (كَافِرِينَ).

١٣١  ذَٰلِكَ أَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ رَبُّكَ مُهْلِكَ الْقُرَىٰ بِظُلْمٍ وَأَهْلُهَا غَافِلُونَ

[Quran 6:131] That is because not Yakun (يَكُنْ) Rabbuka (رَبُّكَ) Muhleka (مُهْلِكَ) the Qarya (الْقُرَىٰ) with Zulmin (بِظُلْمٍ) and its Ahleha (وَأَهْلُهَا) Ghafelun (غَافِلُونَ).

١٣٢  وَلِكُلٍّ دَرَجَاتٌ مِمَّا عَمِلُوا ۚ وَمَا رَبُّكَ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا يَعْمَلُونَ

[Quran 6:132] And for all Darajatun (دَرَجَاتٌ) from what they did deeds. And what Rabbuka (رَبُّكَ) was with Ghafalin (بِغَافِلٍ) about what they do.

[Quran 6:133] And Rabbuka (وَرَبُّكَ) the Ghaniyu (الْغَنِيُّ) Zu (ذُو) the Rahmate (الرَّحْمَةِ) that Yashau (يَشَأْ) Yuzhibkum (يُذْهِبْكُمْ) you and made you Yastakhlif (وَيَسْتَخْلِفْ) from after what Yashau (يَشَاءُ) like what Ansha’akum (أَنْشَأَكُمْ) you from Zurriyaate (ذُرِّيَّةِ) Quomin (قَوْمٍ) Akhireen (آخَرِينَ).

١٣٤  إِنَّ مَا تُوعَدُونَ لَآتٍ ۖ وَمَا أَنْتُمْ بِمُعْجِزِينَ

[Quran 6:134] Indeed, what you Wa’aduna (تُوعَدُونَ) so that to come. And what you with Mu’jezeen (بِمُعْجِزِينَ).

[Quran 6:135] Qul (قُلْ), ‘Yaquome (يَقَوْمِ) do deeds A’ala (عَلَىٰ) your Makanatekum (مَكَانَتِكُمْ). Indeed, I am doer. Then Soufa (فَسَوْفَ) Ta’lamuna (تَعْلَمُونَ) from you Takuna (تَكُونُ) for A’aqibat (عَاقِبَةُ) of the Daare (الدَّارِ). Indeed, the one is not Yuflehu (يُفْلِحُ) the Zwalimun (الظَّالِمُونَ).

B.   THE CONCEPT:

CONTEXT OF THESE AYAHS- WHAT WE HAVE DISCUSSED SO FAR

Through the earlier Ayahs of Suran Al Anam, we have learned the divine guidance as to how important it is to Kulu from ONLY what Zikar Ism of Allah upon it: This divine instruction is reiterated thrice in the earlier ayahs, telling us the significance of only consuming, engaging with, using, be in the company of, benefiting to and from such aspects, company, elements, people, gatherings, laws and systems where is done the Zikar of the Kitaab; the remembrance of the blessings of Allah by being Shaakir; engagement in actions as required by Allah in utter gratitude towards these blessings; understanding and implementation of the Ayaat of Allah; taking of lessons from previous nations’ stories as per the Kitaab and becoming Aabid of Allah by following the laws of Allah only through deep and thorough knowledge of Allah upon such consumption, benefit and use. Thus, the key criteria before we enter into any engagement, use anything, benefit from or to anyone, consume anything, be of use or use anything or anyone; or be in any company or gathering is to identify if the Zikar of Allah’s Ism is being done or not; if Allah’s Kitaab inclusive of all the laws of Allah, is adhered to or not; if the Ayaat of Allah is being understood or implemented or not; if Allah’s blessings are remembered or not; if people are being Shaakir of Allah by obeying Allah’s laws in complete and utter gratitude or not or if they are being proud and arrogant by being Kaafir; because this is the key criterion to be on the path of Hidayah or be on the path of Shaytan and Rijsan.

We have also learned about the two paths. (1) the Path of Hidayah: The divine instructions to Kulu- consume, use, engage, benefit only from what Zikar of Allah’s Ism is done, is the key criterion to follow if we are to seek knowledge, use our intellect, be at utter conviction with Allah and Allah’s Ayaat- both from the Kalam of Allah and the creations of Allah, if we are the upholders of our covenant with Allah and are at peace, and goodwill for others. If we keep this criterion in mind, we would also be mindful and steer clear from any such deeds and conducts that destroy human faculties and abilities, whether done openly through visible or obvious aspects or done secretly in concealed and hidden manner. So, whoever is aligned with, aim for and desire Allah, the whole system of Allah guides that person towards the Hidayah of Allah, by exposing and setting forth Islam as their priorities and interests, keeping the submission to Deen-e-Islam in front of them at all times, guiding them, and making sure they remain steadfast on the path of Allah’s Hidayah. And this is the way, the method, the code of conduct and way of life as bestowed upon us by our Rabb, that we are instructed to establish, strengthen and support by remaining steadfast and perseverant on the path of Allah’s Hidayah. All the Ayaat of Allah are not only the signs and proofs of Allah but basically are integral part of Allah’s system of requital- laws of cause of effect and perfect recompense based on one’s own decisions and actions. The basic aim of this whole system of Allah is to establish, support and strengthen, not only the doing of Zikar but also those who do Zikar of Allah – Zikar of the Kitaab, remember the blessings of Allah by being Shaakir, engage in actions as required by Allah in utter gratitude towards these blessings, understand and implement the Ayaat of Allah, take lessons from previous nations’ stories and be Aabid of Allah by following the laws of Allah only. And (2) the Path of Rijsan: If, on the other hand, we do not follow the divine instructions to Kulu- consume, use, engage, benefit only from what Zikar of Allah’s Ism is done; then we end might end up engaging, consuming, using, benefiting from, and to, such deeds and conducts that destroy human faculties and abilities and that are at such worst levels that if exposed would bring extreme humiliation and disgrace. Thus, those who are not careful and not abide by this key criterion of only Kulu what Zikar of Ism Allah is upon it, then they are susceptible and vulnerable to commit these acts and therefore earning their recompense according to their actions, and deeds. Additionally, by doing Kufar, not seeking knowledge, being proud, arrogant, not Shaakir, by not using their faculties, by not being upholders of their covenant with Allah and by being disobedient of this commandment and laws of Allah, they remain outside of the parameters of Deen and are vulnerable to be influenced and impacted by such people, elements, thoughts, laws and system of Shaitan that work under Nafs-e-Ammara and egoistic selves. Thus, they become influenced and impacted to change their behaviors and become part of the system of Shaytan that propels them towards the Awilya- supporters, friends, allies and protectors of Shaytaan. For such people these Shayateen and their Awliya becomes their Rabb, whose laws they follow instead of Allah’s. This is how they replace and switch the path of Allah’s Hidayah with that of Shaytaan, the following of which in obedience, leads people to do Shirk by asking them to follow laws from besides Allah and the laws of these Shayateen and their Awliyaa. Thus, through their own actions of Shirk and Kufar, they enter into the state of confusion, doubts and uncertainties, being misled far away from the path of Allah, with their priorities and focus, severely restricted, restrained and limited to lead them towards disaster, destruction, exhaustion, tiredness and failures as though they are exhausted, misled into the state of arrogance and pride as well as being engulfed due to the impacts of their surroundings of Shayateen. This is how they are led towards the state of being at the worst possible influence of Shaitan, at their worst possible behaviors and levels, reflective of moral, social and ethical disfigurement and contamination, because they did not Amanu.

Lastly the earlier Ayahs has discussed Allah’s Risalat and how it works w.r.t. both these paths: Allah has appointed to every community and society Allah’s Rasool, whose only duty is to deliver the Ayaat of Allah. But to Amanu, to seek knowledge of the Ayaat of Allah, to use one’s faculties to be at Aman, utter and deep conviction about the Ayaat of Allah, is all dependent on one’s own intention, abilities and decisions because this is how Allah gives knowledge which is based on entirely our own decision, capabilities and abilities. For those who Amanu, they benefit from the system of Allah, but for those who do not Amanu, those who have doubts, fears, are uncertain, unsure and unsafe about Allah’s Ayaat, then Allah’s Risalat, Allah’s Message, both from the Kalam of Allah as well as from nature and Allah’s creations will result in hardships, destruction, devastations and disasters for such people as a form of their recompense, their due rights based on their own actions and decisions. Such people may be magnified to look bigger than they really are in front of the humanity but in the eyes of Allah, such people are diminished, reduced and shrunk in worth, value and significance, since they are far away from what Allah has created them to be- as thinking, reasoning and caring individuals.

CONCEPT OF THESE AYAHS

Ayah 6:128-129, “And Youma (يَوْمَ) Yahshuru (يَحْشُرُهُمْ) them Jama’ean (جَمِيعًا). Yama’shara (يَمَعْشَرَ) the Jinne (الْجِنِّ), certainly Astaks’ar (اسْتَكْثَرْتُمْ) from the Annaas (الْإِنْسِ). And Qala (قَالَ) their Awliya (أَوْلِيَاؤُهُمْ) from the Annase (الْإِنْسِ), ‘Rabbana (رَبَّنَا) Astamta’a (اسْتَمْتَعَ) some of us with some of other and Balaghna (وَبَلَغْنَا) Ajalna (أَجَلَنَا) which Ajalta (أَجَّلْتَ) for us.’ Qala (قَالَ), ‘The fire of your Mas’wakum (مَثْوَاكُمْ) Khalideena (خَالِدِينَ) in it except what Sha’a (شَاءَ) Allah. Indeed, Rabbeka (رَبَّكَ) Hakeemun (حَكِيمٌ) A’aleem (عَلِيمٌ). And thus Nawalliy (نُوَلِّي) some of the Zwalimeen (الظَّالِمِينَ) with some of others with what Kanu (كَانُوا) Yaksabuna (يَكْسِبُونَ).”

And well-known fact of (يَوْمَ) the recompense for (يَحْشُرُهُمْ) them al-together (جَمِيعًا) who have been working in close coordination and support of each other (يَمَعْشَرَ) those who are not understood and whose real traits are hidden (الْجِنِّ), certainly these are most and to the larger extent those (اسْتَكْثَرْتُمْ) from the humanity (الْإِنْسِ). And reflected from their conducts and endeavors (قَالَ) their supporters, allies, friends, confidants and protectors (أَوْلِيَاؤُهُمْ) from the humanity (الْإِنْسِ), ‘the Rabb of all, who is carrying out the Rabobiat for everyone (رَبَّنَا) this is the Mata’a- the basic needs and requirements for survival and life (اسْتَمْتَعَ) for some of us with some of others and have delivered, reached its destination (وَبَلَغْنَا) have postponed and delayed (أَجَلَنَا) which postponed (أَجَّلْتَ) for us.’ Reflect from conducts and endeavors (قَالَ), ‘The fire of is going to stay with you (مَثْوَاكُمْ) indefinitely and forever (خَالِدِينَ) in it except whoever is able to connect and respond to the system of Allah (شَاءَ) Allah. Indeed, the Rabb has always been (رَبَّكَ) All-wise, full of wisdom, judge, lawmaker, giving of all the laws and (حَكِيمٌ) all-knowing and source of all knowledge (عَلِيمٌ). And thus, become friends, allies, supporters, confidants and protectors (نُوَلِّي) some of those who carry out injustices, are in extreme darkness, cause to mislead, oppress and of those who are unjust (الظَّالِمِينَ) with some of others with what they aimed to reach the final destination through their conducts of (كَانُوا) bringing upon themselves, absorbing or retaining within them the impacts in the form of facing the consequences of their own actions, in the form of Azaab (يَكْسِبُونَ).

The concept of accountability and the provision of perfect recompense directly in alignment with our choices; i.e., all of us facing the consequences of our own actions sooner or later, is a well-known and confirmed fact. However, there are people who work together and support each other; both from such groups of people who are not normally understood by others, since their real traits are hidden and concealed from others- they work in close coordination and support by the other groups of people who are mostly those members of our communities who live among us and are from our near and dear ones. Both these groups of people, since they work together in close coordination and support of each other as supporters, allies, friends, confidants and protectors, therefore the recompense for them is joined and clubbed together. In this worldly life, they have been the source of each other’s basic needs and requirements for survival and all that they need to live as per the desired manner the temporary life here on earth. Thus, because of their interjoined and interconnected needs, requirements, support and coordination for each other’s actions, their accountability and recompense for all of them, for the consequences of these actions, have been postponed to a time when the fire of their Azaab will stay with them indefinitely and forever. This is how those who carry out injustices against Allah and Allah’s system, who are in extreme darkness and doubts due to their own lack of seeking knowledge and using their thinking and intellect; who cause to mislead and oppress others and who carry out acts of Zulm against Allah and Allah’s creations become friends, allies, supporters, confidants and protectors of each other, bringing upon themselves, absorbing and retaining within themselves the impacts in the form of facing the consequences of their own actions, in the form of Azaab of being in fire forever. The only exception from this recompense will be for those who get connected to the System of Allah. Through their own efforts, they respond to the laws of Allah taking Allah as the being who is carrying out the process of Rabobiat for everyone; who is All-wise, full of wisdom, judge, lawmaker, giving of all the laws, all-knowing and source of all knowledge; and because of this connection and alignment with system of Allah, they are able to rescue themselves from this recompense of being in the fire forever.

Ayah 6:130-131, “Yama’shara (يَمَعْشَرَ) the Jinne (الْجِنِّ) and the Inse (وَالْإِنْسِ), ‘Did not come to you Rusulun (رُسُلٌ) from among you Yaqs’una (يَقُصُّونَ) upon you my Ayaat (آيَاتِي) and Yunzirunakum (وَيُنْذِرُونَكُمْ) you for Laqa’a (لِقَاءَ) this Youm (يَوْمِكُمْ) of yours?’ Qalu (قَالُوا), ‘Shahidna (شَهِدْنَا) A’ala (عَلَىٰ) Anfusena (أَنْفُسِنَا)’ and Gharartuhum (وَغَرَّتْهُمُ) them the Hayyatu (الْحَيَاةُ) of the world. And Shahedu (وَشَهِدُوا) A’ala (عَلَىٰ) Anfusehim (أَنْفُسِهِمْ) that they Kanu (كَانُوا) Kafireen (كَافِرِينَ). That is because not Yakun (يَكُنْ) Rabbuka (رَبُّكَ) Muhleka (مُهْلِكَ) the Qarya (الْقُرَىٰ) with Zulmin (بِظُلْمٍ) and its Ahleha (وَأَهْلُهَا) Ghafelun (غَافِلُونَ).”

Work in close coordination and support of each other (يَمَعْشَرَ) those who are not understood by others since their real traits are hidden (الْجِنِّ) and those from the humanity (وَالْإِنْسِ), ‘Did not come to you the messengers of Allah (رُسُلٌ) from among you who asked to follow in their footsteps through follow up actions expected from you (يَقُصُّونَ) upon you my signs- from the Kalam of Allah as well as the creations of Allah (آيَاتِي) and aimed to prepare you for the future through clear warnings to (وَيُنْذِرُونَكُمْ) you for you coming face to face and meeting  (لِقَاءَ) this well-known fact, process and event of recompense (يَوْمِكُمْ) of yours?’ Reflected from their conducts and endeavors (قَالُوا), ‘All are the upholders of justice, in terms of being the witness and evidenced of (شَهِدْنَا) at the highest level (عَلَىٰ) all their Nafs (أَنْفُسِنَا)’ that they had engulfed in wishful thinking, delusions and falsehoods (وَغَرَّتْهُمُ) of the temporary life (الْحَيَاةُ) of the world. And they were witnessed of and evidenced for (وَشَهِدُوا) to the maximum and height (عَلَىٰ) by their Nafs (أَنْفُسِهِمْ) that they aimed to reach the final destination through their conducts and endeavors of (كَانُوا) being those who do Kufar, who hide and concealed, who did not use their faculties, who were not at Aman with Allah, who rejected, and denied Allah’s Ayaat, who were ungrateful and proud and metaphorically dead (كَافِرِينَ). That is because their Rabb -in the past (رَبُّكَ) did not aim to reach the final destination (يَكُنْ) of their destruction and extinction (مُهْلِكَ) of such communities, cities, nations and residences (الْقُرَىٰ) with injustices, suppression, darkness and confusion (بِظُلْمٍ) and its owners, those who are responsible for such zulm (وَأَهْلُهَا) are unaware and lack of knowledge (غَافِلُونَ).

This Ayah is a thought-provoking question addressed to the two groups of people who work together in close coordination and support of each other 1) those who are not understood by others since their real traits are hidden and concealed from others and 2) those who live among us as humanity, as our near and dear ones, by asking them “Has never the Rasool- messenger of Allah come to you, delivering you Allah’s message, communicating you the Ayaat of Allah, both from Allah’s Kalam- as well as the creations of Allah? Has Allah’s messenger never asked you all to follow in their footsteps and practice what they’re practicing in terms of Amanu, of seeking knowledge, of using your thinking, intellect, of being at Aman with Allah’s Ayaat; of preparing yourselves for the future by undertaking the desired actions and warning you about these consequences if you choose to commit these acts of Zulm? Has the messenger of Allah never warned you about you coming face to face, bearing the consequences of your actions and meeting you’re the perfect recompense for your actions, that is a well-known fact, process and event for everyone? Even if none of the messengers have come to you, your own Nafs, you yourselves are the best witness of and upholder of the maximum evidences of the fact that your conducts and endeavors were of those who do Kufar, who hide and concealed, who did not use their faculties, who were not at Aman with Allah, who rejected, and denied Allah’s Ayaat, who were ungrateful and proud and metaphorically dead. This is not possible that you yourselves are not witnessed of and upholders of evidences of these acts of yours since Allah, the Rabb for everyone will never cause destruction and extinction of such communities, cities, nations and residences with injustices, suppression, darkness and confusions at their core and their owners, those who are responsible for such zulm, who are unaware of or lack of knowledge as to what they are doing and why such destruction is upon them.

Ayah 6:132-133, “And for all Darajatun (دَرَجَاتٌ) from what they did deeds. And what Rabbuka (رَبُّكَ) was with Ghafalin (بِغَافِلٍ) about what they do. And Rabbuka (وَرَبُّكَ) the Ghaniyu (الْغَنِيُّ) Zu (ذُو) the Rahmate (الرَّحْمَةِ) that Yashau (يَشَأْ) Yuzhibkum (يُذْهِبْكُمْ) you and made you Yastakhlif (وَيَسْتَخْلِفْ) from after what Yashau (يَشَاءُ) like what Ansha’akum (أَنْشَأَكُمْ) you from Zurriyaate (ذُرِّيَّةِ) Quomin (قَوْمٍ) Akhireen (آخَرِينَ).”

And for all is the results of their recompense based on their own actions (دَرَجَاتٌ) from what they did deeds. And is it even possible that their Rabb, in the past (رَبُّكَ) was with unaware (بِغَافِلٍ) about what they do. And their Rabb- in the past -(وَرَبُّكَ) has always been the one without any need or dependency on anyone (الْغَنِيُّ)- the possessor of (ذُو) the Rahmat- sources of success, prosperity, shield and protection, height, inspiration, benchmark and unity (الرَّحْمَةِ) for whoever connects with and responds to the system of Allah (يَشَأْ) will be blessed with the ways and methods for (يُذْهِبْكُمْ) you and made you successors and inheritors (وَيَسْتَخْلِفْ) from after whatever is the system of Allah aligned with (يَشَاءُ) just like how and what Allah has created as institution (أَنْشَأَكُمْ) you from the followers those who walked in the footsteps of (ذُرِّيَّةِ) establish and strengthen those who were (قَوْمٍ) other than you (آخَرِينَ).

In comparison to the Fazal of Allah, which is given to everyone regardless of one’s deeds or actions; the concept of Darajaat is closely aligned with one’s recompense and accountability and in accordance with one’s decisions and actions. Thus, these two ayahs depict the very foundations of Deen telling us that for each and every one is the results of their recompense based on their own actions, whatever they did and are doing in this worldly life, the recompense for them will be based on what they did, since there is no possibility that the Rabb, who is carrying out the process of Rabobiat for everyone would be unaware of or lack knowledge of what everyone does. Allah is the one who is without any need or dependency on anyone- the possessor of Rahmat- sources of success, prosperity, shield and protection, height, inspiration, benchmark and unity for whoever connects with and responds to the system of Allah because whoever responds to the System of Allah, the laws of Allah, the Ayaat of Allah, for those who are the followers of and who walk in the footsteps of Allah’s Deen; the person will be blessed with the ways and methods for making them successors and inheritors as aligned with the system of Allah. This is not a big task for Allah, who was the one who has created, us as humanity, in the form of an institution, with defined roles, responsibilities and laws; who established and strengthen those who were the followers of this system of Allah.

Ayah 6:134-135, “Indeed, what you Wa’aduna (تُوعَدُونَ) so that to come. And what you with Mu’jezeen (بِمُعْجِزِينَ). Qul (قُلْ), ‘Yaquome (يَقَوْمِ) do deeds A’ala (عَلَىٰ) your Makanatekum (مَكَانَتِكُمْ). Indeed, I am doer. Then Soufa (فَسَوْفَ) Ta’lamuna (تَعْلَمُونَ) from you Takuna (تَكُونُ) for A’aqibat (عَاقِبَةُ) of the Daare (الدَّارِ). Indeed, the one is not Yuflehu (يُفْلِحُ) the Zwalimun (الظَّالِمُونَ).”

Indeed, what your recompense and appointment of perfect accountability (تُوعَدُونَ) so that to come to you your perfect recompense. And what you’re if with those who would get this sort of recompense (بِمُعْجِزِينَ). Reflect from speech and conducts, ‘oh those who I establish and strengthen (يَقَوْمِ) do deeds as per its maximum and height of (عَلَىٰ) your basic purpose, roles, position, functions, responsibilities, tasks and standings (مَكَانَتِكُمْ). Indeed, I am the doer of such deeds too. Then you would come face to face and realize (فَسَوْفَ) based on your knowledge and what you’re aware of (تَعْلَمُونَ) from your such conducts and endeavors that you aim to reach the final destination (تَكُونُ) for the end results of such actions (عَاقِبَةُ) of the strong-hold position of Jannat (الدَّارِ). Indeed, the one is not successful in both the worlds (يُفْلِحُ) those who are unjust, is in the dark, full of wishful thinking, lack of knowledge, is in doubts, carry out injustices and suppression (الظَّالِمُونَ).

These Ayahs stresses the well-known fact that the recompense and appointment of perfect accountability will come to everyone sooner or later. Thereafter Allah asks a thought – provoking question that ‘what if you’re with those who would get this sort of recompense of being in the fire forever? Therefore, you should establish and strengthen to perform the desired deeds as per striving with your whole beings, as per your maximum potential, resources, strengths and abilities aligned with your basic purpose, roles, position, functions, responsibilities, tasks and standings as identified to you by Allah in Quran. Because sooner or later you would come face to face and realize the end results based on your own knowledge and realization as you face the consequences of your own actions and endeavors. Once and only when you’re aligned with your basic purposes as highlighted to you by Allah, respond to and connected to the system of Allah, then and only then can you aim to achieve the desired end results in the form of perfect recompense of your actions- the strong-hold position of being in Jannat. The fact remains that those who commit acts of Zulm, who carry out injustices against Allah and Allah’s system, who are in extreme darkness and doubts due to their own lack of seeking knowledge and using their thinking and intellect; who cause to mislead and oppress others and who carry out acts of Zulm against Allah and Allah’s creations; do so because their Nafs-e-Mut’mainna, which could have pushed and warned them against such acts, remain suppressed, and thus they can never be the ones who are successful in both the worlds. Thus, this Ayah links squarely to the early discussion about the coordination and support for each other of those communities and nations who are committers of Zulm and injustice at its height and as consequences of such acts, remain in fire forever.

C.    IMPLEMENTATION IN TODAY’S LIFE:

These Ayahs of Surah Al-Ana’m i.e., 6:128 to 135 give us the following divine guidance that we can apply in our day to day lives.

  • HOW JINN O INS WORK TOGETHER AS FRIENDS, ALLIES AND PROTECTORS: These Ayahs warn us about two group of people 1) those people who are not understood by others, since their real traits and characteristics remain hidden and concealed from others and 2) people in our surroundings, who live among us as our near and dear ones. These two groups become friends, supporter, confidants and allies for each other, working in close coordination of and supporting and strengthening each other since they present themselves as the source of all that is desired, to live the temporary life here on earth, as if they have been appointed by Allah as the source of all these needs of life. They end up being a part of such communities and nations, that commit extreme acts of injustices against the system of Allah, Allah’s Ayaat and creations of Allah. By relying on each other, supporting each other, these two groups are doing nothing except taking on themselves the burden and the responsibilities of such actions of Zulm, the consequences of which are leading them towards their join interconnected recompense of being in the fire, which is going to stay with them forever.

  • ALLAH’S SHA’A IS THE ONLY EXCEPTION- DARAJAAT IN ACCORDANCE WITH ONE’S DEEDS: The only exception from such joint recompense of these two groups is for those, who by their own actions, respond to and connect with the system of Allah, the laws of Allah in Deen and in nature, respond to the Ayaat of Allah and due to their reliance, putting trusts on Allah as the All-wise, source of all wisdom; the only Hikm- lawmaker and judge for them; the all-knowing and source of all knowledge; they are able to aligned themselves with the system of Allah and are thus able to rescue themselves from committing acts of Zulm and from this joint recompense of being in fire forever. The end results, the recompense and accountability for everyone is based on their decision and actions on the basis of justice at its best since Allah is well aware of everything and it’s going to be the perfect recompense for everyone based on their due rights, as to what they earn for themselves. Since Allah is the only one who is devoid of any need or requirements yet is the possessor of all Rahmat- the source of all success and prosperity for both the worlds; the shield and protection, the source of reaching heights, of being inspiration and role model for other, the source of all progress, growth and development; therefore, whoever will respond to, connect and aligned with the system of Allah, would not only be able to rescue themselves from Azaab of fire, but will also be bestowed with as successors, inheritors and Allah’s blessings.

  • THE SUNNAH OF ALLAH & ALLAH’S RASOOL: The basic purpose of Allah’s system, the practice of Allah and Rasool of Allah is to ask the humanity to follow in their footsteps and practice what they’re practicing in terms of Amanu, of seeking knowledge, of using their thinking, intellect, of being at Aman with Allah’s Ayaat; of preparing themselves for the future by undertaking the desired actions and of warning them about these consequences if they choose to commit these acts of Zulm. The sole purpose of Allah’s messengers is to warn humanity about them coming face to face, bearing the consequences of their own actions and meeting their individual recompense for their own actions.

  • THE NAFS AS SHAHADA FOR OUR DEEDS: At every point of time in our lives, our own Nafs, we ourselves are the best witness of and upholder of the maximum evidences of our own conducts and endeavors; whether these are of those who Amanu, who seek knowledge, who use their Aqal, thinking and intellect to be at Aman with Allah’s Ayaat OR whether these are of those who do Kufar, who hide and conceal Allah’s Ayaat, who do not use their faculties, who are not at Aman with Allah, who reject, and deny Allah’s Ayaat, who remain ungrateful and proud and metaphorically dead. This is not a possibility that we are not aware of our own actions. Since we always are aware of our own actions, there is no possibility that people are not witnessed of and upholders of evidences of the acts of Zulm they commit since Allah never cause destruction and extinction of such communities, cities, nations and residences with injustices, suppression, darkness and confusions at their core and their owners- those who are responsible for such zulm, who are unaware of or lack knowledge of as to what they have been doing and why such destruction is upon them.

  • THE BEST COURSE- PERFORM AS PER YOUR MAKAAN: Allah has created us, as humanity, in the form of institutions with defined roles, responsibilities and laws and have mentioned all these for us in Quran. Thus, if we want our Aqibat- our recompense, our end results and recompense to be as per our desires and as per the strong holder position of being in Jannat, then we must perform deeds and live our temporary lives here on earth as per the desired role, responsibilities, position, laws as identified by Allah for us. If we want to be successful in both the worlds, we can never commit any acts of Zulm against the system of Allah, but we should make sure to strengthen and uphold our Nafs-e-Mut’mainna at all times that keep on pushing us to remain steadfast on the path of Allah.
