Certainly Zallu (ضَلُّوا) and what Kanu (كَانُوا) Muhtadeen (مُهْتَدِينَ)?

B.   THE CONCEPT:

THE CONCEPT OF SHIRK & CONTEXT OF THESE AYAHS- THE DISCUSSIONS SO FAR W.R.T. SHIRK

THE CONCEPT OF SHIRK:

Normally mistranslated as idol worshipers only but the concept of Shirk is much more than that and much deeply rooted in humanity. The word Shirk or Shareek means to become associated, partner, or related with someone, for instance after marriage, one gets related to the person, in terms of being the owner, the responsible of same duties, responsibilities, relations and rights as that of the other. The plural of Shareek is Shurakaa. The concept of Shirk with Allah basically means to assign others as Shuraka’a- partners with Allah in areas where Allah has not given the Authorization in Quran, and where no one else can be the authority, owner, responsible of and rights for. For instance, in matters of Deen, the only Hikm (the lawmaker & judge) is Allah, therefore when one listens to someone else who is associating things in matters of Deen, when one follows these man-made laws by someone else; then that person is actually doing Shirk, and the person whose laws the person is obeying instead of Allah’s is being assigned as partner- a Shareek (plural Shuraka’a) with Allah as a lawmaker in Deen. Deen-e-Islam, the laws of Allah, being exclusive, limited and restricted to Allah only is the basic framework of this concept for instance in Ayah 4:146, the phrase “….Akhlas’u their Deen to Allah….” means that they refer all matter of their Deen-e-Islam exclusively from Allah, based on the laws of Allah as mentioned in the Kalam of Allah, the Quran, in an exclusive basis, i.e., restricted their Deen ONLY to Allah.

Similarly in Ayah 39:3, “Except to Allah the Deen- the Khaalis’u. And those who Attakhizu (seize) from besides Allah Awliya (protector, confidants, allies, inspiration) what Na’babudu them….” clearly explains the concept of ‘Khalis’ Deen to Allah’ i.e., Deen is exclusive to Allah; that is, we cannot do shirk in Deen by following the laws of Deen from anyone other than Allah because that would mean being Ibaad of anyone from besides Allah, whose laws one follow in matters of Deen. Therefore, those who divide themselves in sects, groups and beliefs which are not as per Quran are also termed as Shirk- reference Ayah 30:31-32, “and do not be of the Mushrekeen- Of those who Faraqu (divided, create distinctions in) their Deen, and became sects; each faction pleased with what they have.”

In a nutshell, it’s also Shirk to listen and follow any man-made laws of Deen which are outside of Quran, to be associated to any sects/groups created in the name of Deen or be holder of any beliefs, views and opinions, associating anyone as a partner to Allah in being a lawmaker in Deen. Thus, those who call themselves Muslims can also be Mushrikeen. It’s because of this that Allah says in Ayah 12:106 “And most of them do not have Emaan on Allah except while they do Shirk”. As per Quran Allah can Yaghfir- protect from impacts of any other sin, but not shirk, which shows the significance of Shirk as the most sinful act in the eyes of Allah. As per ayah 31:13, “….Indeed, Shirk is great Zulm”. As per Quran, Deen is only one- as mentioned in Quran.

THE CONTEXT ABOUT SHIRK AND THE DISCUSSIONS SO FAR

Through the earlier Ayahs of Suran Al Anam from Ayah no. 99 and onwards, we have learned the basics of Shirk such as the Results of Doing Shirk and Za’um upon Shuraka’a: Terming Shirk as one of those acts which are regarded as extreme injustices and Zulm against the Haqq (due rights) of Allah- mainly through Aftara upon Allah (to communicate their own opinions as if those are the Kalam of Allah and Allah’s Ayaat); the earlier Ayahs have narrated the harsh reality that most of the humanity, go against and in direct opposition to what could be the sources of support and strengths for them by doing Shirk and assigning partners with Allah, where no one else is the authority, by following the laws of these Shuraka’a. Thus, majority of humanity engulfed in their egotism, pride, and confidence over their Shurakaa as if they are their source of support, help, assistance, strength and healing for them; but doing shirk and relying on these Shuraka’a always turns out to be futile, useless, worthless and of no help and support for the Mushrekeen. In fact, on the contrary, it was because of these acts of Shirk and their Shuraka’a that they got disconnected from the sources of support and strength bestowed by Allah and they were led towards the path of destruction and failure, where the matters of Deen and life remains unclear to them; where they are engulfed in confusions and doubts, since their Shuraka’a have made matter ambiguous, doubtful, questionable and uncertain for them and they get misled far away from the path of Allah by the same Shurakaa upon whom they were also so proud and confident of.

The Whole System of Shirk, Jinn as Shuraka’a, Concept of Baneen and Banaat of this System: Those who do Shirk; breach and violate Allah’s Haqq- the due right of Allah as the only deity by assigning partners with Allah. These people are Baneen for their Shurakaa, i.e., those who are working for, laying the foundations for, walking in the footsteps of such Shurakaa by committing acts of Binnate- of working, laying the foundations and strengthening these Shuraka’a – all of which are done without any knowledge and in complete ignorance since these Shuraka are Jinn for them- their real characteristics are hidden from them and they are unable to comprehend these Shuraka’a. The basic aims and endeavors through the Baneen and Binaate are to seek division and cause separation between humanity using Allah, as if they are striving and working in the path of Allah; as if a sign of Allah has come to them for which they are the only ones who are at Aman with and no one else is. The basic tool on the basis of which they are able to influence and impact others causing people to change their behaviors is that their speech, conducts and endeavors are decorated to look, feel and sound beautiful, attractive and pleasant with the use of false, delusional, full of wishful thinking and deception-based speech and aspects.

The Integral Part of this System, Their Methods & Divine Warnings: For those who take up any Hikm, lawmaker & judge, from besides Allah, following their laws instead of Allah; the divine warning is that ‘if you are obedient followers of most of those on earth, they would cause confusions and mislead you far away from path of Allah since they do nothing except cause delusions, assumptions, falsehood, wishful thinking; leading you all towards such traditions, norms, assumptions, guesses, theories and hearsay which they have adopted due to the lack of their knowledge. And they do nothing except lie, misstate their own opinions as facts, as if those are of Allah’s Kalam- they put forward opinions formed without knowledge and tell lies.

How Jinn O Ins Work Together as Awliya: Allah has warned us about two group of people 1) Jinn- those who are not understood by others, since their real traits and characteristics remain hidden and concealed from others and 2) Ins- people in our surroundings, who live among us as our near and dear ones. Naba of Allah, Allah’s message and Hidaya is met with huge opposition and animosity by both such groups of people who are all working as Shayateen, influenced by Khutuwaat of Shaitaan and working under the influence of their own egoistic self and Nafs-e-Ammara. These two groups of ‘Jinn o Ins’ become friends, supporter, confidants and allies for each other, working in close coordination of and supporting and strengthening each other since they present themselves as the source of all that is desired, to live the temporary life here on earth, as if they have been appointed by Allah as the source of all these needs of life. People working for and under their influence end up being a part of such communities and nations, that commit extreme acts of injustices against the system of Allah, Allah’s Ayaat and creations of Allah. By relying on each other, supporting each other, these two groups do nothing except taking upon themselves the burden and the responsibilities of such actions of Zulm, the consequences of which are leading them towards their join interconnected recompense of being in the fire, which is going to stay with them forever.

ONLY Kulu from What Zikar Islm of Allah upon it: The divine instructions of ONLY Kulu from what Zikar Ism of Allah upon it, is reiterated multiple times in the earlier Ayahs, that highlight the significance of only consuming, engaging with, using, being in the company of, benefiting to and from such aspects, company, elements, people, gatherings, laws and systems where is done the Zikar of the Kitaab; the remembrance of the blessings of Allah by being Shaakir; engagement in actions as required by Allah in utter gratitude towards these blessings; understanding and implementation of the Ayaat of Allah; taking of lessons from previous nations’ stories as per the Kitaab and becoming Aabid of Allah by following the laws of Allah only through deep and thorough knowledge of Allah upon such consumption, benefit and use. If we keep this significant criterion in mind, we would also be mindful and steer clear from any such deeds and conducts that destroy human faculties and abilities, whether done openly through visible or obvious aspects or done secretly in concealed and hidden manner. If, on the other hand, we do not follow the divine instructions to Kulu- consume, use, engage, benefit, only from what Zikar of Allah’s Ism is done; then we end might end up engaging, consuming, using, benefiting from, and to, such deeds and conducts that destroy human faculties and abilities and that are at such worst levels that if exposed would bring extreme humiliation and disgrace. Thus, those who are not careful and not abide by this key criterion are susceptible and vulnerable to be impacted by such company, consumption or benefit and may end up being part of this system by first becoming Kaafireen. Those who do Kufar by not seeking knowledge, being proud, arrogant, not being Shaakir, by not using their faculties, by not being upholders of their covenant with Allah and by being disobedient of this commandment and laws of Allah, they remain outside of the parameters of Deen and are vulnerable to be influenced and impacted by such Shayateen who are Baneen and Binnate of Shaytaan. Thus, they become influenced and impacted to change their behaviors and become part of the system of Shirk that propels them towards the Shuraka’a – their Awilya- supporters, friends, allies and protectors of Shaytaan.

The Concept of Haram- A Key Part of Allah’s System as well as Key Aspect of Kazaba by System of Shirk: what is prohibited by Allah and mentioned in the Quran is identified by Allah clearly and should be avoided at all costs except what is absolutely necessary. Whatever is not mentioned in the Quran as prohibitions is allowed. Allah has based the laws of cause and effect through this list of all the prohibitions, as explained in detail and through multiple Ayahs, that we need to avoid at all cost, so that to prepare us for the perfect recompense. Whoever follows this system of requital based on the lists of prohibitions and strictly adhere to these, would get the best recompense from the system of Allah. Whereas on the other hand, majority of people exploit this system of prohibitions, as to what is Haram and what is allowed to a great extent, in order prohibit what is not prohibited by Allah, and to assert what is prohibited by Allah. All such man-made laws surrounding what is Haram and what is Halal in Islam cause confusions, doubts, create uncertainties and mislead others through delusions, desires, wishful thinking and falsehood. These acts are aimed at causing hinderance, blocking, weakening, going against and opposing this system of requital of Allah, built upon the list of prohibitions.

CONCEPT OF THESE AYAHS

Ayah 6:136, “And Ja’alu (جَعَلُوا) to Allah from what Zara’a (ذَرَأَ) from the Haras’e (الْحَرْثِ) and the An’aame (وَالْأَنْعَامِ) Nas’eeban (نَصِيبًا). Then Qalu (فَقَالُوا), ‘This is for Allah with their Z’aumehim (بِزَعْمِهِمْ) and this is for the Shuraka’ena (لِشُرَكَائِنَا).’ Then what Kana (كَانَ) for their Shuraka’a (لِشُرَكَائِهِمْ) not Yas’elu (يَصِلُ) towards Allah. And what Kana (كَانَ) for Allah, then that is Yas’elu (يَصِلُ) towards their Shuraka’a (شُرَكَائِهِمْ). Sa’aa (سَاءَ) is what they Yahkumun (يَحْكُمُونَ).”

And appointed for duties (جَعَلُوا) towards Allah from what have been sowed the seeds for, created and increased in significance (ذَرَأَ) from the efforts and endeavors that are put forward for the hereafter (الْحَرْثِ) and the blessings of Allah (وَالْأَنْعَامِ) making them entitlements, privileges and due rights (نَصِيبًا). Then reflected from their speech & conducts (فَقَالُوا), ‘This is for Allah with their pride, confidence, arrogance that would turn out to be futile and useless (بِزَعْمِهِمْ) and this is for those whom they have taken as their deities, whose laws they follow in Deen from besides Allah, and who have been assigned Allah’s Shareek in areas where there is no authorization by Allah (لِشُرَكَائِنَا).’ Then what aimed to reach the final destination through these conducts and endeavors (كَانَ) for those whom they have taken as their deities (لِشُرَكَائِهِمْ) not reach, obey, connect to, follow the commands and turn (يَصِلُ) towards Allah. And what aimed to reach the final destination through these conducts and endeavors (كَانَ) for Allah, then that is reach, obey, connect to, follow the commands and turn (يَصِلُ) towards those whom they have taken as their deities (شُرَكَائِهِمْ) all such deed, actions or sayings, which are at, such a worst level that, if known, would be extremely embarrassing and shameful for those committing such deeds or saying such words (سَاءَ) is what they do Hikm with, make laws, judge matters, decide, act as Hikm – lawmaker and judge in matters of Deen (يَحْكُمُونَ).

Closely aligned with the context of this Ayah, this Ayah further explains how the system of Shirk, those Jinn-o-Ins working under the influence of Shaytaan as Baneen committing Binnate, use the laws of prohibitions as their main focus. Thus, by creating these man-made laws, they sow the seeds for shirk and increase these laws in significance by dedicating these laws towards Allah, as if Allah is the one who has identified these among lists of prohibitions. Whereas many aspects from all the blessings of Allah as well as people’s efforts and endeavors that people want to put forward for their hereafter, are redirected towards their Shura’ka, making them the ones who are entitled for, owners of the privileges and as those who have the due rights of such Allah’s blessings and people’s efforts. They create two broad categories of rights, one for Allah which is done with fruitless and futile pride, arrogance and confidence upon their Shura’kaa and another for their Shura’ka. Then whatever aspects, laws, blessings of Allah and efforts of people are directed towards their Shuraka’a neither ever reaches Allah, nor these aim to obey, connect to, follow the commands or turn towards Allah in any manner whatsoever. Whereas on the other hand, whatever aspects, laws, blessings of Allah and efforts of people are directed towards their Shuraka’a, not only reaches their Shuraka’a but is also aimed to obey, connect to, follow the commands of and turn towards their Shurka’a. This is all a whole fabricated system of Shirk, that those working for their Shuraka’a aim to invite and connect everyone to. How they do Hikm with, make laws, judge matters, decide and act as Hikm – lawmaker and judge in matters of Deen are all the examples of such acts, sayings and deeds that create Fasaad, imbalance and destruction causing disbalance among members of society and community; that focus of selfish interests and egoistic desires through deceit and destruction for others aiming to earn wealth and money at the cost of others; that are reflective of worst behavior – basically all such deed, actions or sayings, which are at, such a worst level that, if known, would be extremely embarrassing and shameful for those committing such deeds or saying such words.

Ayah 6:137, “And Likewise, Zayyana (زَيَّنَ) for Kas’eere (لِكَثِيرٍ) from the Mushrekeen (الْمُشْرِكِينَ) Qatala (قَتْلَ) of their Aulaad (أَوْلَادِهِمْ)- their Shuraka’a (شُرَكَاؤُهُمْ) so that to Yuradduhum (لِيُرْدُوهُمْ) them and so that to Yalbesu (وَلِيَلْبِسُوا) upon them their Deen (دِينَهُمْ). And if Sha’a (شَاءَ) Allah, what then they do? Then Zarhum (فَذَرْهُمْ) them and what they Yaftaruna (يَفْتَرُونَ).”

And Likewise, is made attractive, pleasant and desirable (زَيَّنَ) for most of them and to a larger extent (لِكَثِيرٍ) from those who commit acts of Shirk, taking on deities from besides Allah, whose laws they follow instead of Allah’s and who have been assigned as partners in areas where no one else is an authority (الْمُشْرِكِينَ) Kill or to take the life out physically, fighting, to metaphorically kill, to degrade, abuse or humiliate someone, to kill confidence; to make someone in-effective dead by destroying the inbuilt faculties and abilities, or not to use or nurture those abilities, or to deprive someone of knowledge, education & training or to block their ways and means of personality and character development and growth in any way (قَتْلَ) of their children, or those whom they have given birth to, in both literal as well as allegorical sense (أَوْلَادِهِمْ) by those whom they have taken as their deities, whose laws they follow in Deen from besides Allah, and who have been assigned Allah’s Shareek in areas where there is no authorization by Allah (شُرَكَاؤُهُمْ) so that to reject, negate, make futile, rendered useless, waste, destroy or cause end to (لِيُرْدُوهُمْ) them and so that they get engulfed in all aspects and sides, surrounded by, covered from all sides by, and overwhelmed (وَلِيَلْبِسُوا) upon them their Deen i.e. their laws, rules & regulations, boundaries & parameters; their obligations and duties and their judgments as well as rewards and punishments (دِينَهُمْ). And if they work in aligned with, responding to, connecting to the system of Allah comprising of Allah’s Hidayah & Message, Allah’s Fitrat, Noor of Allah, the laws of Deen and Laws of nature (شَاءَ) Allah, what then they do? Then leave, end and discontinue your association with, and disconnect with (فَذَرْهُمْ) them and what they associate their own opinions and views as if these are the kalam of Allah and from Allah (يَفْتَرُونَ).

This Ayah is closely aligned with the context of earlier Ayahs especially the man-made laws surrounding lists of prohibitions. Thus, after telling us about such man-made laws, the whole focus of which is to further the system of Shirk and strengthen their Shuraka’a, this Ayah give us the harsh reality of humanity under the influence of this system of Shirk. These Shuraka’a through the system of man-made laws, and especially focused on the list of prohibitions, result in making attractive, pleasant and desirable for most of the Mushrikeen the Qatal of their own children and to a larger extent. Thus, by blindly following this huge list of prohibitions in Deen as created and enforced by their Shuraka’a, whose laws they follow from besides Allah; these Mushrikeen end up metaphorically killing their own children, by killing their confidence; by making them in-effective and metaphorically dead by destroying their inbuilt faculties, talents and abilities; by not using or nurturing those abilities, by depriving them knowledge, education and training or by blocking their ways and means of personality and character development and growth in any way, shape or form; since those abilities, talents and faculties are listed among the so-called prohibitions by their Shuraka’a. This is how the system of shirk, these Shuraka’a reject, negate, make futile, render useless, waste and destroy them, both the Mushrikeen as well as their children; so that they get engulfed in all aspects and sides, surrounded by, covered from all sides by, and overwhelmed upon them their Deen i.e., their laws, rules & regulations, boundaries & parameters; their obligations and duties and their judgments. And if they had worked in aligned with, responding to, connecting to the system of Allah comprising of Allah’s Hidayah & Message, Allah’s Fitrat, Noor of Allah, the laws of Deen and Laws of nature, then there would not have been any possibility that they would become victim of this system of Shirk. Therefore the divine instructions to us, as the addressee of the Quran is to leave, end and discontinue our association with, and disconnect with, not only them but also whatever they have associated in Deen, which are their own opinions and views which they project as if these are the kalam of Allah and from Allah.

Ayah 6:138, “And Qalu (وَقَالُوا), ‘This Ana’am (أَنْعَامٌ) and Haras’a (وَحَرْثٌ) Hijrun (حِجْرٌ)- do not they Yat’a’amuha (يَطْعَمُهَا) it except from Nasha’a (نَشَاءُ)- with their Za’um (بِزَعْمِهِمْ). And Ana’am (وَأَنْعَامٌ) Huruman (حُرِّمَتْ) Zuhuur (ظُهُورُهَا) it’. And Ana’am (وَأَنْعَامٌ) not they Yazkaruna (يَذْكُرُونَ) Ism (اسْمَ) of Allah upon it- Aftara (افْتِرَاءً) upon it. Will Sayajaza (سَيَجْزِيهِمْ) them with what Kanu (كَانُوا) they Yaftarun (يَفْتَرُونَ).”

And reflected from their speech & conducts (وَقَالُوا), ‘These blessings of Allah (أَنْعَامٌ) and these efforts and endeavors that are put forward for the hereafter (وَحَرْثٌ) are leading towards hard heartedness and to be engulfed in such set-in stone ways and methods that are far away from the path of Allah and would therefore be hard to change (حِجْرٌ)- do not they are allowed for tasting, experiencing, indulging, benefitting from or providing benefit from (يَطْعَمُهَا) it except from as per all of their wills, desires, agreements and system (نَشَاءُ)- with their conceitedness, egotism, vanity, pride, self-importance, arrogance and big-headedness over their Shuraka’a that is basically futile, useless, worthless, insignificant and ineffective (بِزَعْمِهِمْ). And Allah’s blessings (وَأَنْعَامٌ) are prohibited (حُرِّمَتْ) to provide support, assistance, help and be allies of (ظُهُورُهَا) it’. And Allah’s blessings (وَأَنْعَامٌ) not they Zikar- remember the blessings of Allah by being Shaakir; engaging in actions as required by Allah in utter gratitude towards these blessings; understanding and implementation of the Ayaat of Allah; taking of lessons from previous nations’ stories as per the Kitaab and becoming Aabid of Allah by following the laws of Allah (يَذْكُرُونَ) deep and thorough knowledge (اسْمَ) of Allah upon it- associate their own opinions and views as if these are the kalam of Allah and from Allah (افْتِرَاءً) upon it. Will be given perfect recompense based on their own choices (سَيَجْزِيهِمْ) with whatever their conducts and endeavors aimed to reach the final destination of them (كَانُوا) associating their own opinions and views as if these are the kalam of Allah and from Allah (يَفْتَرُونَ).

This Ayah is linked to the context of the earlier Ayahs, where Allah has given us the most important criterion and warned us that those who do not follow the divine instructions to Kulu- consume, use, engage, benefit, only from what Zikar of Allah’s Ism is done; then end up being susceptible and vulnerable to be impacted by such company, consumption or benefit and may end up being part of this system of Kufar and Shirk. After advising us clearly to sever all contacts with such system of Shirk and whatever they associate with Deen, in this Ayah Allah then describe further their actions, as to how they use, the man-made laws of prohibitions to further their acts of Shirk and strengthening of the system. They identify few aspects and things from Allah’s Naimat & blessings as well as deeds that people aim to put forward for the Akhira, based on their own whims and wishes, which they project as if those would lead them towards becoming stone- hard hearted and away from the path of Allah. Therefore, they instruct their followers, the Mushrikeen not to consume, benefit from or engulf in any shape or form in them except in accordance with and in alignment with their system and rules. All of this is carried out with such pride, arrogance, confidence and putting of their trusts on their Shuraka’a that is useless and futile. This is how they regard Allah’s blessings as prohibited to provide support, assistance, help and be allies for the people. Additionally, while consuming, engaging, benefiting from any of Allah’s blessings, they never remember that those are from Allah, and thus remain proud and arrogant. Since they do not do Zikar of Allah with deep and thorough knowledge, they remain ungrateful towards Allah, and end up associating their own opinions and views as if these are the kalam of Allah and from Allah. All of them, in this system of shirk, will be given perfect recompense, they will face the consequences sooner or later of these acts of Shirk and for associating their own opinions and views as if these are the kalam of Allah.

Ayah 6:139] “And Qalu (وَقَالُوا), ‘what is in Bat’une (بُطُونِ) this- the Ana’ame (الْأَنْعَامِ) Khalis’atan (خَالِصَةٌ) to Zikarna (لِذُكُورِنَا). And Muharramu (وَمُحَرَّمٌ) A’ala (عَلَىٰ) Azwajena (أَزْوَاجِنَا). And indeed, they Yakun (يَكُنْ) Mayyatan (مَيْتَةً). Then they in it Shuraka’a (شُرَكَاءُ ۚ) Sayajaza (سَيَجْزِيهِمْ) them and their Was’fahum (وَصْفَهُمْ). Indeed, Allah is Hakeem (حَكِيمٌ) Aleem (عَلِيمٌ).”

And reflected from their speech & conducts (وَقَالُوا), ‘what is in the hidden and concealed aspects and benefits (بُطُونِ) of these Allah’s blessings (الْأَنْعَامِ) are exclusive and restricted (خَالِصَةٌ) to remembrance of their Shuraka’a (لِذُكُورِنَا). And prohibited (وَمُحَرَّمٌ) to its height (عَلَىٰ) the likes of it, its types and similar aspects and benefits (أَزْوَاجِنَا). And indeed, they aimed to reach the final destination through these conducts and endeavors (يَكُنْ) for the metaphoric deaths, of not only becoming blind followers of these man-made laws but making others metaphoric dead too by making them blind followers and extreme in Kufar and Shirk (مَيْتَةً). Then they in it those whom they have taken as their deities, whose laws they follow in Deen from besides Allah, and who have been assigned Allah’s Shareek in areas where there is no authorization by Allah (شُرَكَاءُ ۚ) with get the same perfect recompense based on their own choices; they will have to face the consequences (سَيَجْزِيهِمْ) of them attributing, ascribing, accrediting Allah a lie, an accusation, which is far from truth; as well as forcefully applying and asserting their acts of Shirk and their Shuraka’a (وَصْفَهُمْ). Indeed, Allah is Hakeem- full of Hikmat, wisdom, All-wise, the law maker, who is the one who has given all the Mohkimaat, and the Judge (حَكِيمٌ) All-knowing, source of all knowledge (عَلِيمٌ).

Although one hand, they remain ungrateful towards Allah, commits acts of Shirk and associate their own views as if those are from Allah; but on the other hand, all the hidden aspects and benefits of Allah’s blessings are dedicated solely and exclusively towards the remembrances and gratitude of their Shuraka’a- as if their Shura’ka are the source of these blessings while at the same time they prohibit the hidden aspects and benefits of Allah’s Nai’mat and the likes of it to be of any use or benefit for others. That’s how they aim to become and make other people metaphoric dead in blind followings, in extreme Kufar and too far away from the path of Allah. Sooner or later, these Shuraka’ will get the same perfect recompense based on their own choices; they will have to face the consequences of them attributing, ascribing, accrediting Allah a lie, an accusation, which is far from truth; as well as forcefully applying and asserting their acts of Shirk and their Shuraka’a. Indeed, Allah is full of Hikmat, wisdom, All-wise, the law maker, who is the one who has given all the Mohkimaat; the Judge; All-knowing and the source of all knowledge.

Ayah 6:140, “Certainly Khasara (خَسِرَ) those who Qatala (قَتَلُوا) their Aulaad (أَوْلَادَهُمْ) Safahan (سَفَهًا) with Ghaire (بِغَيْرِ) I’lman (عِلْمٍ) and Haramu (وَحَرَّمُوا) what Allah Rizqahum (رَزَقَهُمُ) them- Aftara (افْتِرَاءً) A’ala (عَلَى) Allah. Certainly Zallu (ضَلُّوا). And what Kanu (كَانُوا) Muhtadeen (مُهْتَدِينَ)?”

Certainly, those who through their acts of Kufar and shirk, kill, suppress and weaken their own Nafs-e-Mut’mainna as well as their Ahle- those whom they are responsible for and thus, they end up losing on all the benefits of this worldly life as well as the hereafter (خَسِرَ) those who Kill or to take the life out physically, fighting, to metaphorically kill, to degrade, abuse or humiliate someone, to kill confidence; to make someone in-effective dead by destroying the inbuilt faculties and abilities, or not to use or nurture those abilities, or to deprive someone of knowledge, education & training or to block their ways and means of personality and character development and growth in any way (قَتَلُوا) their children, or those whom they have given birth to, in both literal as well as allegorical sense (أَوْلَادَهُمْ) those who are of weak-minded, lack of knowledge, those who are Kaafireen and who do not Amanu, since when people do not Amanu, do not seek knowledge, or do not use their faculties to be at utter conviction with Allah, that leads to them being in a stateful of wishful thinking and delusions due to their lack of knowledge and of doing Kufar (سَفَهًا) without, other than, in contradiction of (بِغَيْرِ) knowledge (عِلْمٍ) and prohibited (وَحَرَّمُوا) what Allah has bestowed in the forms of all ways and means of personality and character nourishment and development for (رَزَقَهُمُ) them- associate their own opinions and views as if these are the kalam of Allah and from Allah (افْتِرَاءً) to its maximum, at its height (عَلَى) upon Allah. Certainly, they have been led to path of destruction and failure, are unclear, with aspects and matters not obvious to them, in a state of confusions, doubts, ambiguities and uncertainties where the path ahead is not visible for them and they are in utter and complete darkness because of lack of knowledge, being misled far away from Allah’s path. (ضَلُّوا)- And what Kanu (كَانُوا) Muhtadeen (مُهْتَدِينَ)?

Certainly, those who through their acts of Kufar and shirk, kill, suppress and weaken their own Nafs-e-Mut’mainna as well as their Ahle- those whom they are responsible for and thus, they end up as losers in worldly life as well as the hereafter; since they are the ones who ended up metaphorically killing their own children, by killing their confidence; by making them in-effective and metaphorically dead by destroying their inbuilt faculties, talents and abilities; by not using or nurturing those abilities, by depriving them knowledge, education and training or by blocking their ways and means of personality and character development and growth in any way, shape or form. They did this out of foolishness, due to lack of knowledge- since they did not Amanu, seek knowledge, nor use their faculties to be at utter conviction with Allah, that has led them to be in a stateful of wishful thinking and delusions due to their lack of knowledge and of doing Kufar. Thus, they ended up metaphorically killing their own children out of foolishness without knowledge by prohibiting what Allah has bestowed in the forms of all ways and means of personality and character nourishment and development. This was the result of them under the influence of and following of these man-made laws of prohibitions of their Shuaka’a who basically associate their own opinions and views as if these are the kalam of Allah and from Allah.  Certainly, they have been led to path of destruction and failure, are unclear, with aspects and matters not obvious to them, in a state of confusions, doubts, ambiguities and uncertainties where the path ahead is not visible for them and they are in utter and complete darkness because of lack of knowledge, being misled far away from Allah’s path- How can they be of those who could be guided?

C.    IMPLEMENTATION IN TODAY’S LIFE:

These Ayahs of Surah Al-Ana’m i.e., 6:136 to 140 give us the following divine guidance that we can apply in our day to day lives.

  • HOW ALLAH’S BLESSINGS AND EFFORTS ARE DIRECTED TOWARDS THE SYSTEM OF SHIRK: Many of Allah’s blessings as well as people’s efforts and endeavors that people want to put forward for their hereafter, are redirected towards their Shura’ka, making them the ones who are entitled to the Allah’s blessings and people’s efforts. Those working for the system of Shirk basically propagates two separate rights and categories of Deen, One towards Allah, as Haqooq of Allah and another towards their Shurka’a. Whatever Allah’s blessings and people’s efforts are directed towards their Shuraka’a never reaches Allah, nor these are aimed towards obeying, connecting to, following the commands of or turning towards Allah in any manner whatsoever. Whereas whatever Allah’s blessings and people’s efforts are directed towards their Shuraka’a, not only reaches their Shuraka’a but are basically aimed to make people obey, connect to, follow the commands of and turn towards their Shurka’a. This is the whole network of fabricated system of Shirk- this is how they do Hikm with, make laws, judge matters, decide and act as being Hikm – lawmaker and judge in matters of Deen; through which they create Fasaad, imbalance and destruction causing disbalance among members of society and communities; with selfish interests and egoistic desires through deceit and destruction for others aiming to earn temporary benefits of this worldly life such as wealth, title, popularity, money, resources etc.

  • QATAL OF AULAAD BY THEIR OWN HANDS: Can anyone even imagine killing their own children by their own hands? But this is the harsh reality committed by those who do Shirk for whom is made attractive, pleasant and desirable to kill their own children by their Shuraka’a. Creating the man-made laws of Deen, the Shurka’a sow the seeds for shirk and increase the significance, importance and application of these laws by dedicating these laws towards Allah, as if these are the list of prohibitions by Allah. By blindly following this fabricated list of prohibitions in Deen as created and enforced by their Shuraka’a, these Mushrikeen end up metaphorically killing their own children, by killing their confidence; by making them in-effective and metaphorically dead by destroying their inbuilt faculties, talents and abilities; by not using or nurturing those abilities, by depriving them knowledge, education and training or by blocking their ways and means of personality and character development and growth in any way, shape or form; since those abilities, talents and faculties are listed among the so-called prohibitions by their Shuraka’a. This is how the system of shirk, these Shuraka’a reject, negate, make futile, render useless, waste and destroy them both- the Mushrikeen as well as their children.

  • THE BASIC REASON BEHIND THEIR QATAL OF THEIR AULAAD: They did this out of foolishness, due to lack of knowledge- since they did not Amanu, seek knowledge, nor use their faculties to be at utter conviction with Allah, that has led them to be in a stateful of wishful thinking and delusions due to their lack of knowledge and of doing Kufar.

  • THE ONLY POSSIBILITY OF RESCUE FROM SUCH SYSTEM OF SHIRK. The Mushrikeen get engulfed in all aspects and sides, surrounded by, covered from all sides by, and overwhelmed upon them the laws, rules & regulations, boundaries & parameters; their obligations, duties and judgments of this system of Shirk. But if they had worked in aligned with, responding to, connecting to the system of Allah comprising of Allah’s Hidayah & Message, Allah’s Fitrat, Noor of Allah, the laws of Deen and Laws of nature, then there would not have been any possibility that they would become victim of this system of Shirk. Therefore, the divine guidance to us, as the addressee of the Quran is to sever all contacts with such system of Shirk and whatever they associate with Deen- their own opinions that they project as if those are from Allah’s Kalam.

  • ALLAH’S BLESSING AND PEOPLE’S EFFORTS ARE TERMED AS PROHIBITIONS: The System of Shirk use the man-made laws of prohibitions to further their acts of Shirk and strengthening of the system by identifying few of Allah’s blessings and people’s efforts as prohibited- as if those would lead them towards becoming stone- hard hearted and away from the path of Allah. Therefore, they instruct their followers, the Mushrikeen not to consume, benefit from or engulf in any shape or form in them except in accordance with and in alignment with their system of Shirk, Shuraka’a, their rules and judgements. This is how they restrict and limit Allah’s blessings as prohibited in order to block these to provide support, assistance, help and be of any benefit.

  • THEY NEVER DO ZIKAR OF ALLAH’S ISM BUT TOWARDS THEIR SHURAKA’A: While consuming, engaging, benefiting from any of Allah’s blessings, they never remember that those are from Allah, and thus remain proud and arrogant. Since they do not do Zikar of Allah with deep and thorough knowledge, they remain ungrateful towards Allah, and end up associating their own opinions and views as if these are the kalam of Allah and from Allah. All the hidden aspects and benefits of Allah’s blessings, on the other hands, are dedicated solely and exclusively towards the remembrances and gratitude for their Shuraka’a- as if their Shura’ka are the source of these blessings while at the same time they prohibit the hidden aspects and benefits of Allah’s Nai’mat and the likes of it to be of any use or benefit for others. That’s how they aim to become and make other people metaphoric dead in blind followings, in extreme Kufar and too far away from the path of Allah.
